Another surprisingly well written story
Love the script. The lead couple have great chemistry as well as the second couple. I love the fact that the lead couple are so devoted to each other and don’t forget the second couple wherein the guy did his best so he could convince his family that his gf is the only girl he’ll marry in that lifetime 😊. The aunts are villainous but the grandmothers have surprisingly good attitude towards the female lead’s character making this drama great despite the other bad characters surrounding her.The Soundtracks are great too as well as the costumes. And despite ZWY’s supposedly deadpan face, it doesn’t make me dislike his acting.

Fantastic drama
one of the best wuxia drama I’ve watched. The chemistry between the lead couple is indeed palpable. The story is great and well acted by the cast specially the main couple. Such a fun interpretation of Reincarnation and time travel and an intense love. The sound tracks are fantastic too. The ending is quite acceptable to me though it’s a bit too rushed. The cast is good looking young people specially Chen Xing Xu and Zhang Jing Yi and to me it adds value to the drama if the cast are good looking 😅. I’ve noticed that Yuan Ruo Hang who played Pei Shao Jun looks like Bai Jing Ting in this drama.
I’m satisfied with the ending and the sound tracks are great too.

Funny Drama with some annoying villains.
It’s such a funny drama specially the interaction of the lead characters. It’s just so annoying that the character of Tan Song Yun gets to be slapped so many times.Sound tracks are very essential in enhancing scenes and this drama has at most passable ones but some are so disappointing and maybe because the drama was done 7 years ago compared to the dramas done during the recent years, they have great ones.
I’m now at the episode 17 and so far I’d say this drama is not a bad one though not the best drama of Tan Song Yun.

Gripping suspense and undying love of Yu Jin to Jiang Si
what a suspenseful,/gripping story with comedy and a love story of two lovers who died and were reborn so they could have a better life in their present. The hateful mother-daughter duo added to the story a lot of suspense but after they were deposed, prosperity and peace to Dazhou was restored and made the main couple find their forever. Yu Jin becoming an emperor was a surprise making Jiang Si and empress but the most extraordinary part of the story is Yu Jin’s loyalty and undying love to Jiang Si.Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet drama
This is the second time I’ve watched this drama and it didn’t disappoint me at all. I loved the story line, the acting, the chemistry between the ML and FL and the sound tracks subtly helped too. The ending is very satisfying too because it was not rushed.I rarely rewatch dramas and movies but maybe someday I will watch this again ☺️.

One of the best written and acted on period drama I’ve watched so far.
what a story. The actors are good specially the male lead. He can evoke emotions with a deadpan face while he was talking to the female lead and that is because of his acting together with an exceptional script. The progression of the story was done well and though the sound tracks were not that remarkable, they still contributed to the success of the drama. This is one of the most well done drama I’ve watched specially of the period dramas because though the including the battle scenes too were not so grand, for some reason, every aspect of the drama from the storyline to the acting of the actors, costumes and the sound tracks made this drama a very outstanding drama. Disappointing
I’ve known about this drama for a while now but didn’t watch it immediately and now I know why it didn’t catch my interest that much. The 1st episode was ok but the switching between the past and the present was so annoying. When I was at episode 4, for some reason, him having a son already was a total turn off hence I’m dropping this drama now.Was this review helpful to you?
