I like the harmony and the slow pace. Exactly what I wanted after two lockdowns in my country. But I did not like…
Yupppp! I was surprised that they put PhuKao in - I guess to drum up interest in the side couple, but I think it would be more effective to do what UWMA did with hinting at WinTeam and then giving them their own series. ESPECIALLY because PhuKao is in such a longer timeline than SoGui. Like SoGui is like a year (?), while PhuKao is yearS. PhuKao are my fav in the novels, and I don't really like their depiction in the show.
In the novel she is normal. I am a bit sad and/or angry, what the series made out of this character.
YEAH! That's what I remembered of her, too. I know they made a lot of changes from the novels to the drama (which I also don't really agree with), but I thought it'd be fine overall, but her character just really grates on my nerves. I ended up just skipping her parts since I got so angry watching. You can't force someone into a sexuality to suit your wants AND you can't just out someone either!
I absolutely feel the same way. Her character from the very first episode was cringe-worthy for me then she just…
EXACTLY! I'm just worried because I feel like the love line is going to be between her and Petch, but I'm like, that's not good either! I think I may just skip all parts that have her in it (which is sad because I want to support actresses as well as actors! But actresses usually end up in the worst roles - going across all genres/countries).
Anyone else dislike Khim? She's so CREEPY and annoying, and I really dislike her.
I was talking to one of my friends about her, and she feels the same way. But like, Khim's (1) kind-of a stalker, (2) starting rumors, (3) RUMORS THAT CAN AFFECT SOMEONE'S CAREER/LIFE B/C THE WORLD IS STILL OVERWHELMINGLY HOMOPHOBIC (and even if it's not homophobic comments, it's just affecting their personal lives and personal relationships) - not just the doctors, but with ALL the people she put online. I'm fine with being supportive of all types of love, but please don't fetishize it (especially real people). I hate this trope in characters because it's not funny, it's terrible (especially because it shows viewers it's okay to do the same thing because there's never any real repercussions in shows really - looking at WRU Zol and LBC Lemon).
Also, the fact she told him "I did it to help you realize that you actually like men" - just hell no. I'm literally so angry after she said that that I'm tempted just to drop this show. (I'm gonna try to stick through it for SoGui & PhuKao though.) I didn't think she was this bad in the novels when I read them (and I absolutely adored the novels).
First time commenting because I was so EFFIN HYPED FOR THIS SERIES CUZ I LOVE THE BOOKS.....but now.... It just…
Wow, this comment is how I feel exactly. (Down to being excited for Tale of a Thousand Stars). I am also just super pissed off about Khim - I didn't find her that bad in the books, but it's been a while since I read them.
I've been looking forward to this for ages, and it's finally out! I hope it lives up to the novel (although I do know they changed a few things after watching the trailers).
Hello! Since Mo Bao Fei Bao / 墨宝非宝 has republished the novel (under the same name as the drama), they have also added a 2019 ver of the epilogue, which FANATICAL / Hui3r has finally gotten around to translating (:
(Also, FANATICAL / Hui3r's translation is the OFFICIAL fan translation because they have received express permission from the author to translate this novel plus other works.)
The age of consent in Thailand is actually 15.So Team is not underage and can consent.I've read the first chapter,…
I think it was a good move regardless on the part of P'Sheep & the UWMA team. Gets good press, spreads a good message, and can avoid some gray areas (and therefore avoid any flack in regards to that). (Also, because in the original tweet, P'Sheep mentions wanting to avoid 'breaking the law.")
Technically, the age of consent is 15, but 18 is the accepted one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Asia#Thailand). I think it's also good that they changed it to reach a wider audience since 18 is generally recognized internationally. (In P'Sheep's follow-up tweet, she shows a graphic that explains that Thailand's age of consent is 17 - which Team was.)
And then again, I've also gone through college, and re: gray area about the drinking (but you can read the above comments about that).
(Just read P'Sheep's tweets for the explanation - people have translated them, too!)
I'm excited to watch BU though! I love seeing healthy relationships on screen!
Is episode 10 the last ep? They played a wrap-up clip at the end of it, which makes it seem that way, but the MDL page says that we're only halfway done.
The kiss at the end was so hesitant haha I think the actors maybe had a hard time committing to the act. If you…
I love Skam! I have watched the different versions for other countries, too. It's actually really interesting to see how they changed the story a bit to fit each country's customs/culture. (:

(All of it is adorable, but I love how everyone in GMM just accepts P'Mike as TikTok king hahaha)
