I edited my original post - now you can find the songs that they sing in each episode with timestamps + a link to the original song on spotify, as well as the episode links (:
After watching 2 episodes (producer auditions) so far, all I can say is that I hope they all find what they're looking for. A lot of the people who auditioned are lonely and seemed to want to find another person to bond over music with, and I truly hope that they are able to do that through this program. Looking forward to the next episode (and to each musician's future as well)!!!!
Her character is really annoying in the first two episodes (I don't know why the screenwriter chose to present…
Lol I'm about to start ep9, and I still don't like her (but I can tolerate her, which is why I'm sticking with the show - also bc I like all the other characters)
is it only episode 1 that's around 4 and a half hours or will all of them be? i was so happy thinking i finished…
I think it's every ep. I looked at viki and was so surprised when I saw that ep 2 would also be coming out in 2 parts. How long is this show? Like what do they consider 10 eps? 20 parts (10 episodes) or 10 parts (5 episodes)?
I just started watching, and I don't know if it's just me but I really dislike the FL. The actress who plays her is doing a wonderful job, but the character herself just super annoys me. I hope she gets better though (I'm only on ep2, but I just have a strong dislike already LOL).
Although I agree with what mochibunny said about the South African man, I do agree that I wish there was more…
Although I did not see the casting call for 7.7, I have been in FB groups where people have sent out casting calls to the Asian community, so I do understand how they work. In my previous reply, I pointed out that not only do POC who speak Korean exist, but I gave examples of shows/people who would be comfortable and potentially available for filming this show. I believe that there are plenty of POC foreigners who are both fluent in Korean and available who could have applied to the casting call, but still not get chosen. Even if it is unintentional, there are lots of implicit (and/or explicit) biases that would make the casting directors focus on light-skinned/white guests. Although we both know that a casting call went out and what it might look like, we do not know how many POC applied and were rejected (and for what reason that they were rejected) since I think it is safe to assume that POC applied to the show, especially if blanket casting calls were put out in FB groups like the one you were in. It looks odd that so few POC were chosen, but plenty of white people were. We should also look at the retention rate since some of the POC have since left the show & the fact that although Tyler and Alberto have stayed on, Sam Okyere has not. All in all, although I do like the guests that were chosen and have thoroughly enjoyed the run of the show, I think it is important to recognize the demand and need for having a more representative group of guests (especially if the show is trying to talk about 7.7 billion people in the world, it should have a more representative selection of people). I do not want to engage in this anymore, so I'm just going to leave it here.

While I do agree that casting could potentially be a problem, I think more people are fluent in Korean (and live in Korea) than you think. If you go to Youtube, you can find so many people from such a variety of backgrounds. I mean, an easy African-American-fluent-in-Korean that I can think of off the top of my head is Megan Bowen (who would also fit the show's theme because she is married to a Korean, lives in Korea, makes content about cultural differences including in interracial couples, she is also in the entertainment industry working with EBSe/Arirang TV/KBS, etc). There's also shows like My Neighbor, Charles and Welcome, First Time in Korea? that show a variety of cast members from different countries that live in Korea (Mexico, India, Paraguay, Nepal, Dominican Republic, Azerbaijan, etc. just to name a small few).
I hope not! Maybe they're just trialing it for 15 eps, and if it's popular, they'll keep it going?
It's sad that there's only 12 episodes. On Rose's IG story, she was talking about how this is it, and even if they do bring it back, that it won't be the same as it is now. I'm sad since I really enjoyed the show!
Ok, I said that, but next ep's preview (ep10) is about the Nth Room - trigger warning for all those who will watch.Pls…
I think talking about the Nth Room is important; I just wanted to warn people going in just in case it triggers something. The show started off really lighthearted before moving on to more and more serious topics (which isn't a bad thing), but I think the audience should know if triggering material is present to best protect themselves.
I'm on ep3, and this will probably change in the future bc she's a main character, but I just want to shake all the girls and be like, SEX WORK IS WORK. Work is work. I'm so bothered by their reactions. Also, how they treat her and her things and her presence after finding out. Really gets on my nerves. (But also tbh I find their friendships together with the constant gossiping behind each others' back to be annoying.)
I LOVED this song!!! I really want it to be on Spotify, too. I feel like I'm just gonna keep it on repeat.
Just had one question about the scene with Hyun-woo, the boss lady, and the money. Was he given money to get close to him?
I am excited to see what'll happen next! (:
