Lol as an American, I'm always on the fence with what Joseph says or acts like. I'm either like "okay, I guess" or I'm like "nooooooo." Goes to show how different people are even within the same country, but also he's originally from over 2,000 mi away, so I guess it makes sense that there are some similarities and some differences.

I also questioned myself before when I looked at my "Fav Actors" list since it was overrun by male actors, so I did some soul-searching before I was like, it's not that the actresses are weak in acting, but that their roles are so weak. I feel like we've reached a point in time where we should have stronger FLs (/stronger female characters in general) by now. Thanks for the recs! Ok, I'm getting further into the show, and I agree with what @wellwellbelle said in their comment below. I do hope that we will eventually see Green becoming friends with Tine later in the show when he stops being a stalker (and hopefully doesn't escalate).

I do still think that there is a 'stigma' against "tootsies" in Thai dramas though in terms of the types of characters they play though...
I'm only about 4 minutes in, but I do want to say that I liked the way that they use the fb design. It brings a fresh take to the opening, so although it does the "mash in diff cuts from the series" trope, it's in a new style since the scenes are like fb posts. And now, we start off the show with one of the ML's making a post (with the actual fb background). I know other shows have used fb, but never in this way.

And wow the format is so similar too. I've missed Abnormal Summit so damn much so I'm glad this at least is similar
I also think it's set up like Abnormal Summit, but I don't really see much of My Neighbor Charles in it. It's because the set up of MNC follows the specific episode's family around & has the hosts talking about ways they can assimilate into Korean culture, while AS has like an international round-table discussion of a certain topic.
