This is not watchable at all! They just swapped the previous actor's face with Yang Shi Ze and it looks horrible. YSZ is fit with no body fat - especially around his neck but due to this technology, it makes him look bloated and in bad shape, tried watching the first few episodes but could not - I will skip this one.
Yesterday I wrote that Hae Jun is my favourite character right now. Today I change the statement - Hae Jun is my absolute favourite character - no even comes close to her at the moment. I love how chaotic and funny she is plus her musings & inner dialogs are so entertaining!!!!!! That elevator scene was so damn funny!!!!!
But I do have a problem with the way they talk about Africa in this drama. Africa is a very diverse continent with varied regions, geographies, ethnicities, religions, and cultures. You can not generalize entire Africa into one bucket as they have done here. A very simple example of just one variation is in skin color: Africa above/on the Sahara desert is predominantly with people having brown skin whereas below the Sahara desert is predominantly with people having black skin - how can you generalize this? And not all of Africa is poor - ever been to Johannesburg in South Africa or Cairo in Egypt or Mauritius?
Another thing I don't like is this comparison to Mahatama Gandhi. He was a freedom fighter who led a nonviolent movement to free India from colonization. He inspired people across the globe like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. How can you compare a mere character showing patience to him?
I hope in the subsequent episodes they stop talking about this backstory in "Africa"
This is only watchable because of the male lead. Rest all - the female lead and second leads and third leads are bland and bad. IDK why this is rated as high as 8.2
I agree about Doom at your Service and the Devil Judge, but differ with respect to other dramas. And I agree on Hot Stove League! My rating for it is 9/10 My ratings where I differ from you: 1. Move to heaven: 9/10 2. Mysterious Love: 8/10
I have heard similar things about Navillera and it's still sitting in my Plan to Watch list.
WTF! So disappointed! Sometime by the middle of the series, I started it watching more for the second couple: Leon and Pob. Pob's cuteness, shyness and inexperience was super cute! Disappointed by their ending. Why did they had to break up? Was that angle or plot line even necessary?? Now I will have to wait for the special episode to see if they have a happy ending!
I suggest you to watch One and Only first before starting this. Because it'll not be the same experience anymore…
Thanks Amanda! I seriously can't digest any historical dramas or any dramas set in historical times. But based on your comment, I will at least start Forever and Ever and see how it goes.
Hey folks, do I need to watch One and Only before this? I am not into dramas set in historical periods, so would not be watching the prequel, but since this drama is in a modern setting, can I start this without watching One and Only?
According to me, this has set a high standard for Korean BLs, in the same way, A tale of thousand stars did for Thai BLs. This is how is it done! Really good series. Hope there is season 2 with the story of teacher!
I don't get it as to why he played a supporting role in Navillera after 2 main roles in He is Psychometric and Leverage. Hope he gets more main roles and lead roles.
Where can I watch episode 9? It's not in my Netflix country yet
