I am really enjoying kant bison in the latest episode how first portrayed the mixed emotions so beautifully....on…
Same! I think people are not used to complex characters and dynamics and that is why some of them do not appriciate the portrayal of First and Khao. They are excellent though! I am amazed by both of them and I have a feeling that KantBison is only going to get more interesting.
Kant Bison kinda become boring, when Bison will found out that Kant had other intentions, he would be so mad,…
I disagree! Their story is everything but common and I’m hooked to my seat following what’s going to happen with them. I don’t assume anything about the storylines because I know Jojo’s ability to surprise and I love it!
It is interesting to read everyone’s thoughts about this series. I don’t know if a part of the disappointed people expected something more gritty even though Jojo and the actors repeatedly told us that the series will be a romantic comedy (at heart). That is not to say there can’t be any grittiness. Jojo’s style to me seems to be very 90’s Pulp Fiction or Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet. it is over the top, approaching campy at times and I love it!
As for the acting I think that everybody did well. I agree with those who wrote that Dunk is a bit off at times and he shouted some of his lines but I was entertained by Style. Many say that Joongs character seems to be the only normal and his acting is great. I know even Hollywood careers have been made by acting grumpy during a whole career, but that does not mean excellence. Joong did also well but I could see a laughter in his eyes several times during the episode. I could buy that later on when he inevitably softens but not in the first episode and during the first scenes.
I thought First and Khao did also well. Kant was desperate to please Bison and I think First did his overpleasing acting well. He was very different in the scenes with his brother and even with Style. Bison’s duality was evident: during the mission he was focused and calculative but with Fadel a crybaby (result from him controlling his entire life).
