I really enjoyed reading the comments on this drama today, how did the annoyance we got from our little delusional princess managed to somehow overshadowed the confession of our leads a little bit?π π π I'm just praying that was the last worst thing we've seen from princess Xiyang, I'm afraid it wasn't. Yikes!
Huhhh! She was a bit like a smart character in the initial episodes. To my surprise, she's a delulu promax and I'm seated for all the bad things thats gonna happen to her. If there's an award for a delusional character, Princess Xiyang would definitely bag it home to Jinxiu. You've done well Xia Meng, I see why they picked you for Rebirth to continue playing yet another delusional princess.
I was listening to the songs from the soundtrack and... I saw the image...π₯
I opened it's page on Douban to get some posters but I got spoilers instead π they're giving us clues since the first episode to figure somethings out, they clearly showed his eyes and some figured him out.
I suspect that too cos the eyes of the masked man is very unique. 1 more reason is, how easy XJS escape without…
We shall see, it didn't frustrated me that much because they're not hiding details from the audience. I could tell that it was XJS who shot FYX from the blurry shadow of the CHY, it was intentional. I thought that was sequence in episode was bad direction but it turned out to be a scheme from Jinxiu. They're giving us clues and hints.
Totally agree. FL and ML are both equally badaxx, and similarity in situations make the story interesting. I think…
Exactly. Their stellar performances elevated the script in so many unexpected ways with well suited musics and scores. This director is undoubtedly the best, I just remembered how the musics and scores made MM heart wrenching and unforgettable for me.
it is actually true that less is more. I only have interest in this drama because of LQ, but surprisingly I'm liking all aspects of this drama. From the recycle trope, the subtle comedy, the chemistry between the leads most importantly. I'm really surprised that they're so compatible with each other. I'm having fun watching this drama.
Well, it seems like Li Qin didn't forget about Qu Chao and she get the tips from ZLY. Aura and lets say charisma of a general is obvious even to the blinds and not terrible from the so called female generals we've seen in the past couple of months ago. It is a watchable as of now and we shall the later episodes. My only issue is the huge gap between LQ and CZY acting abilities, I just couldn't take him seriously. Cinematography is not fantastic as I expected this from this Director.
this drama is a good watch honestly, Chen Yao is fantastic and I would like to see some bts of her! I must stay away from Chinese dramas for a while, unfortunately.
Uhmmm, I've really tried my best to watch through this drama but fate wasn't by my side. The only good thing about this drama was amazing performance of Cheng Yi, Xu Zhenxuan, and Liu Mengrui. Apart from that, I see nothing.
The drama looks like a cosplay from a certain group of fandom. The costumes and make up are not the best fit for Wuling and for a drama which was heavily marketed as Wuxia drama. My brain was constantly drifting away from Wuxia to whether I'm watching Xianxia or Palace drama. It wasn't even visually pleasing to enjoy some certain frames, so CHEAP! The narrative is seriously boring without no excitement and sparks just as a linear line passing through ECG machine. If you're Kiwi and enjoying it right now, I absolutely get it. But CY alone cannot hold me in an uninteresting narrative for 40 episodes, this applies to all my faves.
Finally, this drama felt like a LGIEF and ADWAD had a baby, but the baby is not living up to the expectations! Bye bye Cheng Yi.
