Hello. I was going to give this drama a 6 or a 6.5 but after the last episode, I gave it a 1. I don't know if what you are saying is true but I'm waiting for an official clearifcation. I don't think it's too much to expecte.

Anyway, I didn't like the ending generally. The novel has a better ending by far. I was going to give it a 6 or 6.5 in total but the propaganda.... :(

Last time I checked, I've watched about 300 dramas. so I had a clear expectation of this drama from the beging. WTPR was supposed to be fun and nothing more. And it was fun until the last episode. Then it lost all it's qualities. Isn't it natural for me to give it a low rating in this point?
I don't hate it's cast. I don't know about their situations, But WTPR failed me when it mixed propaganda with fun! 🍉

I am really curious about your opinion on bombing hospitals and tents! Because as you know, Killing innocent people and beheading childern is not political issue but it's about humanity. But what I'm talking about? We are here just for entertainment!

Oh, and you know this about "Me" because I said a story doesn't need to give a lesson? So, it doesn't! We are grown ups. We can listen to others' stories and not labeling them every five seconds. Even if we disagree with their choices.

I don't think love is glorious. I think it's as messy as the life itself. And I'm sure the man did heart the woman very badly but he is definitely not the cuse of his misery.

Yes, he was so absorbed with his own fears and pain that he never noticed the pain his choices reflected in his woman. Yes, He he made some very bad choices. Yet, He is the same protective man who loves her enough to choose her over his dream, over his work, over everything but his fears. It makes him damaged, yes. But I don’t think a drama is always about the best choices. I think the most important job of a story is making a character realistic enough to empathize with. Nobody needs to choose perfect for us to empathize with.

And I don't care even if all people call this drama a trash. I'm so very thankful to the writer who doesn't force it's characters to do as viewers like. I'm so very thankful for the unusual story. For all characters with all their flaws.

No. I think you are not listening to this particular story! You want the same old same old story. A story that please you because it's as you can predict! As you have seen a hundred times befor. Just as You like! I think you want to whach "drink your coffee and erase toxic people from your life, get your life together, be perfect and be happy with the perfect golden guy!"

Well it's a story about sadness! It's hard for people to be happy! It's hard to cut ties with someone who has been an anchor in your life for a long time. Real people make decisions like this. Real people suffer like this! Love like this!
Who said all the love stories are about rainbows and unicorns? People hurt each other and cure each other. And you know what? Some times they just hope for the cure to work and it never works.
There is no story that promise us to be exhortative! A story should take us to the world of strangers. A story should make us to listen to unknown aspect of life and Dear Hyeri is doing that!

How can you talk about accepting people as they are, while all you care about is picking the golden one and being the happiest one? How can you be so sure about the right decision and the wrong one? Why can’t we try to see the world through others’ lives? It’s not like Hyeon O is a murderer, a drug dealer, or a Zionist! He is only a damaged person who made bad decisions like any other human.

I can't remember when was the last time I enjoyed a series this much! It has my heart and squeezing it tightly.
Shin Hye Sun's great job is not new but I never loved her role this much.
Everything aside, I LOVE it's cinematography! Do you noticed the filming angles? They are extraordinary!

I've been a kdramer for about 8 - 9 years. I've watched bad rom-coms, I've watched average rom-coms and sometimes very strong rom-coms. I love kdrama for it's "Life" dramas. The realistic dramas. Dramas that represents normal people. Normal life.
But what it is? Is it a rom-com? A slice of life? It's been 8 Episodes! What's the main storyline? FL is searching for her dream. ML is so committed to his work, so passionate about his job because he has a dream. So what? What is the purpose of second couple and support roles? I don't think they serve the story. where is the story?

Very boring. Such a waste of good cast.
