Lee Jae In

Definitely try it out. I dropped this so many times but since people kept recommending it on the forums, I kept coming back. Its so slow in the beginning and honestly, some stuff is skip worthy in the long version still but the 4 episode version actually leaves out too much so you have to switch half way through. However now that I've seen it all, I'm in love, probably gonna rewatch this in a few weeks. This was the combo that worked for me, let me know how you like it :)

2016 was truly a year of epic shows. My favs this year were W, K2, Shopping King Louie, Life Plan A and B, Moon Lovers, Marriage Contract, Love in the Moonlight, Jealousy Incarnate, Far Away Love, DOTS, Behind Your Smile, Something about 1 Percent, The Princess Wei Young and now Legends.

Every time each of these end, I feel a bit more empty inside. It's honestly been an amazing year for dramas.

I was sitting in my uni library watching this in the silent zone when the scene with her confronting the teens came. Burst out laughing at the eating their friends line by the time she attempted to mug the kid, lets just say people were giving my dirty looks and I had to go back to my car to finish watching the rest. IM DYING HERE Y'ALL, THIS IS SO ENTICING AND HILARIOUS!

Cause it's the only show where you can watch two episodes a day, 6 days of the week AND STILL WANT MORE

The old version's Jae In was literally a bully. When her sister asked her why she wants to be with Jae In, DaDa responds something to the effect of "Well, he's mean to me, he's cruel, he's a jerk but sometimes he's nice to me and in those moments I kinda like him". Like girl, classic emotional abuse. The new Jae In IS AMAZING AND SWOON WORTHY. The old Jae In could die in a fire, wouldn't care, the new one though, I NEED HIM <3

Good idea. This version sucks, full of drama and this Jae In is a jerk. Our remake version is a million times better!

Just finished watching it and I liked it (most of the time). On a side note, doesn't the uncle look like Jimmy Fallon?

My biggest problem with this show is that its only once a week. I NEED MORE!

I watched it without subs and without knowing Chinese, I think she did. I don't know how she's gonna leave everything but its so sweet that she'd follow him <3

Watch it! I watched Drinking Solo with this one and found myself loving Jae In much better than High Quality Trash, Don't get me wrong, he's still High Quality Trash but is the SWEETEST, SMARTEST, MOST LOYAL MAN that I have seen in a drama in a long time (besides Park Bo Gum's Lee Young). If you don't watch this show, you're missing a big chunk of the best show in 2016. It's UHMAZING and I honestly get jittery and happy thinking about it!

My two cents: I actually think the opposite, the other one was so melo with all of the family drama. This is a sweet romance. The old DaDa was a pushover, I clearly remember her being asked by her sister in an episode of why she loves Jae In, only for her to answer "I dont know, he's mean, he's rude, he bullies me, but sometimes he's nice to me and thats why I love him"....like what girl? Classical emotional abuse. This Jae In actually likes her and doesn't treat her like a possession. He's stood up to Ju Hee many times (unlike the old spineless one) and takes care of DaDa, pride aside. I personally think this version blows the old out out of water.

I've tried watching this show 3 times now on Netflix, each time I'd quit after the first episode, the third try I got to episode 2 and hated it. This morning, I was on Netflix again and after watching Tiffany's other shows last night (Perfect Couple and The Princess Wei Young), I decided to give it another go. But this version on Netflix was different! It only had 4 episodes! I was so confused until I realized that it was a directors cut and was SUPER condensed. I started to watch it and found myself falling in love in the first episode. It skipped all of the boring BS in the begining! Around halfway through episode 2 though, I found myself actually wanting to see what was cut out. So I started at episode 14 of the original cut and LO AND BEHOLD, thats when the real magic begins. I couldn't stop and FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SHOW, THE COUPLE, AND THEIR LOVE.

My reccomendation for those who can't start this show or dropped it? Watch the directors cut till episode 2, the first 20 minutes, then go to the normal cut episode 14. It worked for me!

For anyone who doesn't have Netflix, you can search for the 33 episode of You Are My Sunshine on Dramanice.to, episode 33 (they also have the directors cut as episodes 33, 34, 35, and 36) then switch to episode 14.

It was an absolutely amazing show that really got you thinking. It's 3 am here where I am and honestly, my brain's too turned on by how amazing this show was to go to sleep. I'd recommend everyone to watch this!

Once you watch it, you'll know it's too little!
