I'm totally interested in watching this but am holding back till it ends to see if it'll have a happy ending. My hearts been broken too many times by dramas with sad endings.
I'm normally super picky about two things, J Dramas (I find myself barely getting into them) and old shows. My brain cant handle potato quality or outdated shows so I find myself avoiding them. Last night, I decided to jump into this show AND MAN DID I GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE. Binged it all night, slept by 3 am and found myself amazed at this show. It immediately drew me in and the plot, character, the EMOTIONS, all made me laugh, cry, and want a Kiego of my own. The ending was not what I wanted but it was realistic. I recommend everyone to watch this, its one of those shows that make you feel what they're feeling. The morning after, I can't stop thinking about how amazing this is. Wish they would remake this into a modern show, I'm sure everyone would love it again!
My very first K Drama. I got sucked into the rabbit hole back in June and after watching this beauty, I've fallen in love with K Dramas. Watched over 75 dramas since but this will always hold a special place in my heart.
I watched this drama back in August and dropped it after 5 episodes. Why? Cause it seemed boring, outdated, and quite frankly, the potato quality video on all the sites hurt my eyes. Just last week, I started a new show called Something About 1 Percent and thought that the storyline seemed quite predicable. Despite going on MDL and seeing that there was a 2003 version, it didnt dawn on me till a few days ago that I had already seen a bit of this show (its old version) and thats why it seemed predictable, CAUSE I ALREADY KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! After this epiphany, I restarted this show with renewed hope and trooped on through the episodes and here is what I found:
1. I found Lee Jae In to be SO ANNOYING! He has the least bit of redeeming qualities, always rude and continuously puts on the tough guy act. When DaDa was describing her relationship with him to her sister, I couldnt help but think damn this sounds abusive. "He's bad and mean but he's nice to me sometimes", yeah, thats a reason to marry a guy -_- The reboot Lee Jae In is WAY better and has a tough side but without the emotional abuse.
2. This should have ended at episode 20. Other than her pregnancy, I couldn't give two hoots about the brother, the sister, family drama, etc. So for me, the reboot works cause there isn't any of that (so far, fingers crossed).
3. WHERE IS THE ROMANCE? THE LOVE? All I saw were a few hugs, a failed honeymoon, and a minimalist relationship. I know it was 2003 and there weren't as liberal views as now but c'mon. Again, thankful for a kiss in the reboot in episode 3.
I dragged through this show but am sailing through the reboot. I'm so glad that it exists cause its a great storyline but with the 2003 version's dragging, useless, annoying plot/characters/everything, hopefully the 2016 version will do it justice. I honestly wait every week for the reboot now and for anyone who wants to watch the original, dont. Why waste your time on this when you can be watching the 2016 version :)
Don't let the bad reviews deter you. This drama is absolutely different, modern, and deals with the affair storyline in a way that doesn't make you uncomfortable while giving you a realistic approach. Love the OST and the chemistry between the two leads is UHMAZING. Give it a try, if you don't like it by episode 5, then drop. I normally don't even like J Dramas, but I recommend this to everyone.
I started this drama about three months ago, totally hated it in the first two episodes and dropped it. After watching W, I fell in love with Lee Jong Suk's work and started watching his other shows. I decided to give this one another try (cause if its LJS, at least I can spend 20+ hours watching his beautiful face) but fell in love with the show.
Better than any time travel/girl pretends to be guy drama I have ever seen. Moonlight Drawn By The Clouds is second best. Moon Lovers would probably be 4th or 5th best.
The end of episode 9 became so creepy, like in horror movie! I wonder, if I should watch this show...
I mean, the amount of likes I got on my comment and the one above says people agree with me so yes "WE". But to be honest, I'm shocked anyone under 10 is scared of this show. Was the final scene a little creepy? Yes. Was it REALLY good CGI and had the shock factor? Yes. But to give up a show and to go making an announcement is just stupid and dramatic. You dont wanna watch? Drop it, no need to tell all of us. We're not gonna convince you otherwise. Your loss.
Seriously whoever is subbing this is letting the viewers down. Ten episodes have been released but it's only been…
Maybe she should have checked with her schedule whether she would be able to upload or not. Like, if you commit yourself to something, follow through. If not, perhaps another sub-er could take over. At this rate, we'll get subs for the final episode in February!
SMH, I hate it when people commit to something and fail to follow through. Two weeks is a ridiculous time to wait for old episodes.
