Leeches? Haaaaa 😭😭😭, so basically most people have expressed themselves and others can reply like u said…
Oh, so now we're just throwing around baseless accusations? Hate to break it to you, but I didn’t create any new account. This account was made last year, but I get it—your eyes are too blinded by Yifan’s trauma to actually check facts before making claims.

And let’s be real, the real issue here isn’t about fairness or discussion. It’s about how some people can’t handle even the slightest criticism of their favorite character. Funny how calling a fictional character out is unacceptable, but constantly going after real users for their opinions is totally fine, right? The double standards are wild.

Oh, almost forgot—I need to block the biggest leech. Let me do that now, I don’t want to dirty my feed.

I understand your frustration with how some users react to criticism, but I don’t think it’s fair to dismiss…
I get what you're saying, but my issue isn't just with people defending Yifan—it's with the blatant double standards in how characters are judged. People justify everything she does in the name of trauma, yet when it comes to Sang Yan, suddenly, there's no room for questioning whether his reaction is realistic or not.

You say Yifan’s actions in episodes 24 and 25 make sense because of her trauma, but why is there no room for discussion about whether Sang Yan’s patience is too idealized? In real relationships, people do have limits, and even the most understanding partners get frustrated or hurt. Yet, SY is portrayed as having endless patience, never once expressing anger or resentment, and that’s conveniently ignored because it fits a certain romanticized narrative.

If emotional intelligence is the key argument, why does it apply only to SY while Yifan gets a free pass for every questionable choice? Trauma doesn’t erase accountability. A character can struggle and still be flawed without being excused for everything. The fact that people immediately jump to defend her while dismissing SY’s perspective just proves my point—there’s a clear bias in how male and female characters are judged in these dramas.

I'm so glad I blocked some users here. They're like leeches, constantly going after anyone who even slightly criticizes this drama or its characters—especially Yifan. Do they have nothing better to do? MDL is a public platform, yet people can’t even express their frustrations about the drama without being attacked.

The way they defend Yifan’s actions in episodes 24 and 25, calling them "realistic" and questioning others' understanding of trauma, is ridiculous. But when it comes to SY, he’s portrayed as absolutely perfect, never even getting angry despite being left twice—that’s somehow considered realistic?

Honestly, what can I even say when most C-drama audiences are made up of bigoted women who are the biggest red flags in real life but still demand a flawless, green-flag partner? Don’t bother replying unless you want to prove you’re one of them.

Guys, I’m on episode 13. Does the FL’s behavior toward the ML change at all, and does she at least try to make some effort toward him? Does she even attempt to apologize for her previous behaviors? Please let me know, because right now, I’m really starting to hate the FL—I don’t like how she treats him at all. I'm literally thinking of dropping it if her behaviour continues like that đŸ„ș

I don't think there was much to dislike about her character, except for some things she said in the past.
Yeah, I agree she said some things in the past that shouldn't have been said, and she said them in the heat of the moment, which is totally understandable. I don't mind that. What I didn't like was how she never apologized for her behavior toward Seung Hyo. I may sound a bit conservative, but I also didn't like how her interactions with her colleague seemed very intimate for them being just colleagues, which could easily be misunderstood by anyone. Still, she didn’t do anything to stop that. I know her colleague was gay, but not everyone knew that, so it was easy to misinterpret her actions. I understand Seung Hyo's father also played a role in their deteriorating marriage, but I still feel that if she had put a stop to those gestures, their relationship might not have gotten as bad as it did. Also, when I was watching it while it was airing, the viewers were so hypocritical in saying that he should have confronted her and acted like a man, and that it was his fault their relationship deteriorated this much, which I totally disagree with.

Was there anyone else who didn't like both of the leads' mothers? While there were people who disliked Seokryu's mom, I didn't see many comments about Seung Ho's mom.

I feel everyone is annoyed by the introduction of the new guy but honestly he hasn’t even done anything yetAnd…
Sure, because nothing says "perfect cupid" like making the ML jealous instead of, you know, actually helping the FL realize her feelings. Clearly, he's got the whole matchmaking thing figured out—completely backward. Yep, definitely a modern-day cupid.

Do you expect the poor girl to perform a French kiss? đŸ€Ż I’ve seen worse kisses. she did well!
No, I don't expect a French kiss, but at least she should move her lips or maybe open her mouth to start.

This is another one of those dramas where FL needs a third party (SML) to realize her feelings for ML, like The…
And about Lee Hyun Woo, who plays the SML—why does he keep picking these roles where the SML has no boundaries and acts like a jerk who won’t take no for an answer, like in A Good Day to be a Dog? I hope he avoids these roles in the future, or he’ll end up like Kwon Yul, who is so typecast that you can tell from a mile away he’ll be a villain or a jerk with no boundaries in any drama he’s in.

This is another one of those dramas where FL needs a third party (SML) to realize her feelings for ML, like The Princess Royal. The writer shows misandry and reverse sexism in the name of feminism. If FL is confused about her relationship with ML, shouldn't ML get an SFL to make FL jealous and try to fix their relationship? But here, it's the opposite. FL doesn't even set clear boundaries with SML because they're colleagues, just like in other female empowerment dramas in the last 3-4 years.

It’s expected. She is young and I believe she has little to no experience of it yet, this is the first drama…
She is very pretty and talented in acting, so I hope she gets more dramas where she can shine. I just hope she works on her kissing skills if she wants to continue flourishing in romance dramas and avoid becoming another Zhang Ruo Nan.

WOW GOOD GOD CALM DOWN. She is only 19 years old. where would she get all the experience like ding yuxi for kissing…
Yeah, she is 19 years old, but I've seen many actors of that age perform well in kissing scenes, so I have similar expectations for her. Maybe I overreacted, but to me, the kiss was genuinely bad and I've seen Zhang Ruo Nan's kissing scenes. In this scene, she didn't make any effort from her side for me.

What a bad kiss that was. I'm so disappointed with the actress. If you're going to do a kissing scene to show love in a drama, at least open your mouth and engage in the scene. Otherwise, don't film a scene like that if you're uncomfortable with it. She should be grateful that DYX is an experienced kisser and managed to hide her flaws; otherwise, the kiss would have looked like someone was forcing her on a gunpoint to do it.

By his hand placement around her neck it's impossible t not kiss ,the question is whether it's surprised kiss…
Does it even matter, though? How much trauma can the ML handle? First, he saw the SML kissing the SFL (who has been his first love until now), and then he saw the SML kissing his current girlfriend, whether it was fake or not. How many free passes can someone like the SML get? And you know what's worse? By the end of the drama, the SML will be forgiven without putting in much effort, simply because they are brothers. Even The FL won't get too angry with the SML and still won't maintain proper boundaries.

Girl if someone tries to kiss you should push thumb into their eyes with full force and kick them on the dxck…
Have you seen an FL in any drama over the last 3-4 years who clearly sets boundaries with the SML and does what you mentioned?

I don't know why everyone here has their panties in a twist about the FL saying something mean to the ML. I have…
Why do you always think that only the ML is at fault for every problem between the leads? I have seen your comments on many drama pages like Are You The One, You Are My Secret, etc. Even when the FL is at fault, or sometimes both, you twist the words and make it seem like only the ML is to blame. Aren't you being a bit hypocritical to think that only the ML is at fault?
