My journey to discovering Prisoner of Beauty was actually backwards where I watched A Dream Within a Dream FIRST and I LOVED it, but I looked up the episode discussions and Soooooo Many people were saying that there are references and callbacks to The Prisoner of Beauty and A Journey to Love that I really had to watch them too. Wei Shao (at least at the start) is kind of man you think is not redeemable because of what he has experienced and he's gonna stay toxic forever, but NO – the kind of love depicted in Prisoner of Beauty is so mature, and so deeply captures the struggles of a married couple who have to keep on going forward together... for Manman and Zhonglin it's really "US versus the rest of the world" forever keeping each other protected.

Whoever wrote this hater / anti article really needs to get in touch with reality... Guardians of the Dafeng was one of the most enjoyable shows I have watched all year and it really touched my heart and made me laugh. My Drama List should not carry such obviously biased "news" if one can even call it that

Guardians of the Dafeng and its little short film No One Like Me remains the best drama overall that I have watched this year - it has achieved the perfect balancing act of humour, sincerity, action, mysterious plots and has some of the best jokes and soundtrack picks. I hope they achieve in the same in Season 2
