I understand but actually the tension started after the production team released the character description list of some imortant characters where many characters were not included.Even one stuffs among the crew replied that they had to do this to cover everything in 40 episodes.

For example Cheng Lisu in the novel was known as a useless young master,he never had any feelings for Song Taotao,but in his character description in the drama,it says that he has a great medical skills(as everybody said they merged Lin Shuanghe into him) also says that he has feelings for Song Taotao.
So we can confirm that our wingman is confirmed to be deleted by them.

and there are some minor characters rumored to be deleted as people didn't saw their name or leak pictures.(not confirm)
He Yunsheng and his father(family of He Yan 2.0) as they are changing the rebirth plot due to their restrictions.
Xu Zhiheng ,even though it's okay as he was more like a lackey of He Rufei
He Yan's sister(but i hope they kept her because she was the only family member of He Yan who remains alive and she was a positive character)
Shen Muxue(as far i heard they merged her profession into song taotao)
also He Yan has so many friends in the camp but i don't know if they will keep everyone.

actually it is second popular work of the author ,her positive supporting characters also likeable that's why people are concerned with it.The main problem is their restrictions.Such a good story at least needs 50 episodes

He was Xu Jingfu's right handed man even though his devotion was an act but he needs to do his every order to make him believe it.
Also he was not a good guy from the beginning which he admits himself and His priority was his ambition that's why even thought i was pissed but wasn't surprised when he schemed around them. Because He Yan's own family did more hateful thing than him where the SML is merely just a stranger ,
And it's a rebirth ,revenge story even though the revenge part is light than the author's other novels but it is impossible to expect this type of story without conspiracy , scheming 😂


I just want them to keep it like the novel but i have no expectation from any adaptation ,Till now whenever they adapt a drama from a very popular novel ,only 10% of them was proper adaptation
Sometimes they ruined many good characters,sometimes they added extra annoying scenes or character .

This is the reason i love the author's work.Because she writes proper story not only for the main characters but also for the supporting characters.

Even i always felt the sml has more feelings for his maid Ying Xiang which he never realized or he never wanted to realize,He Yan was more like a white moonlight whom he admired.
There was a part where he helped the 5th prince against the eldest prince,he didn't ask anything in returns of it,he only wanted to save his maid...then the fifth prince replied him if he cared so much then why did he send her at the first place? ,even though he sends her to the eldest prince as a spy also to avoid suspicion but he knows very well that she will suffer .
He was the one who saved her and he also the one who hurts her,The girl died with pain and yes he got punishment as well,he lost everything and became lonely forever.
The love triangle was not heavy in the novel,i didn't even felt any chemistry between him and he yan .he was just there to pissed off Xiao Jue by making him jealous .so i hope the drama team will not drag the love triangle because it will be annoying.

And Jiang Susu is the most hateful character in the novel even i find the prince (Jiang ruan's ex lover) less hateful than her,yes he used her , a ungrateful scum but at least in second life he done one good deed for her before dying.
Even if someone asked me who is more hateful between Jiang susu and mei furen then i will say Jiang Susu.The author should have give her the same death which she did with Jiang Ruan in her past life

Shen Miao and xie jing xing's age is supposed to be 14 and 17 years old but the most probably will change it into 18 and 20 years old( as they can have so many restrictions)...
I am not judging anyone's face,everyone is good in their own way but the way author described xie jing ,he is supposed to be extremely handsome and Shen miao is supposed to be a cute/adorable girl with round face.even Xie Jing xing thought at first that she is 11 years old because she has chubby cheeks ,that's why i always imagine song zuer for this role but sadly it can't happen if her scandal becomes true..
But please don't cast 30+ or almost 30 years actors as SM and XJX just because they have big fanbase.
Nowadays it's kinda annoying to me when they cast 30+ actors in a teenager roles.specially when they already played similar roles such as revenge/rebirth plot in another drama then why not give the chances to any fresh faces?
Yes she is mentally a middle aged woman but physically she is a teenager

XL died on the battlefield and it was a heroic ending for him as he said that a general's greatest wish to die on battlefield but he didn't let XY to know that he loved her.

i don't remember if there were any parts where XL gave one of his life to jing.
Jing was saved by some mer people and it was XL who asked them to find him,so of course the credit goes to him but he didn't gave any life to him instead he gave one or half of his life to XY to save her .
