KBS released a statement saying Ji Soo will be recasted from episode nine. Episode 7 and 8 will air with him but most of his scenes will be cut out.

Ji soo's agency just released a statement saying he was involved in school violence but the sexual assault is false.
I decided not to accuse him for sexual assault bcoz it wasn't confirmed and that case in particular is serious. People need to be careful in what they say sometimes. Accusing someone of sexual assault isn't a joke. What ji Soo did is despicable but let's hold off with the sexual assault. If the sexual assault is confirmed then we can accuse him of it. We weren't in his life or the victims' lives to know what happened.

Well they need to clear up and tell us officially these crimes he committed. These is very serious.

After reading most comments here, I'll like to point out something.
Saying he was young back then can't justify his crimes even if it's just bullying. He needs to atone or pay for what he has done. We make a lot of mistakes when we are teenagers because we need to face those mistakes and those mistakes shapes us into what we'll become. Ji soo's crimes are coming back to him because he hasn't paid for them.
Secondly, the crimes he committed hasn't been cleared out. We don't actually know which one he committed among the crimes listed. I don't want to mention sexual assault bcoz that one is pretty serious and if I conclude and it turns out he didn't, then I'm just as bad. The official statement says he accepted the bullying charges not sexual assault becoz those are two different things to me. Bringing in sexual assault means he deserves jail time.
Thirdly I want to say that these step he has taken is in the right direction, even for the victims. Imagine if he kept denying it bcoz there is no solid proof. He could claim it is slander from anti fans. His apology might come off as sloppy but the important thing is him accepting it. These is a ray of hope for the victims becoz there's a chance for them to overcome the trauma they are passing through. I pray it helps the victims a lot.
Ji Soo should pay for his actions and also meet the victims and apologise properly becoz sometimes that's all some victims of violence want.
Lastly ji Soo is a human being also. He has parents and relatives that might be completely innocent and oblivious to these crimes. Let's not insult him or cast slur words, it's cyber bullying, we'll just make him the victim. Everyone has been given a chance to change if they are honest and truthfully want to change.
P.S I'm not a ji Soo fan. I've not even watched one of his dramas, I wanted to but after this I'm reconsidering.

What he did was inexcusable but I actually like the fact that he didn't deny it. Some actors who actually commit these crimes in the past keep lying just to save thier career. He had the chance to lie because they didn't have proof against him. Everyone deserves a second chance and this is to show that he's ready to pay for what he did. The victims that suffered in his hands now have the chance to be able to face the trauma they went through and overcome it.

True, the funny thing is that tye CGI part and action scenes just take like 10 minutes in the show but people over exaggerated it like it was the whole show. The plot of this show is good so peeps who are wondering if they should watch it should to see if it is for them

I think her bullying case is true bcoz a lot of people came up to speak out and narrated how they were bullied by her in detail. Postponing the show was a right choice for me but they shouldn't cancel it so that the matter can be resolved. If the show was to air now with all that's happening a lot of people won't watch it bcoz it will feel like an injustice to the victims. The best solution to this is for her to be upfront and sincerely apologise if she actually bullied them bcoz covering her crimes with lawsuit will affect only her career.

Sci fi plus time travel is a very tricky plot line and I think that's why we have two writers. Circle which is another sci fi had four writers and I think it's the reason it came out good. Not only in kdramas but everywhere sci fi gets low ratings bcoz people fail to see the fiction written behind the sci fi. The writers are allowed to create thier own version of science and it's also fantasy. Don't crack your brain trying to pick out faults in a drama bcoz you'll ruin it for yourself.

Regarding PSH acting, to me she isn't a bad actress, she wouldn't have made it this far and one of the highest paid actresses in korea if she was bad. Her roles are weak but bcoz she's able to portray it well you can see she's actually weak.

I just want to keep an open mind to see where this drama will go. Let the drama carry you don't carry the drama that's the only way you can truly enjoy any drama you want to start.

I respect what you said, people are jumping to conclusions when it is just the second episode. Sci fi plus time travel is a very difficult genre to explore and if you don't listen to the details, you'll be thrown off course. I like the first two episodes and it seems Koreans too are liking it bcoz the ratings are riding.

She did but it was towards the ending. It was meant to be a gradual process. Let's be honest the live triangle was the main point here and it wasn't meant to be. This drama is good I'm just trying to suggest what they should have done better.

A romcom doesn't focus on simply that aspect. If it was based solely on that then there will be no plot. High school dramas need character growth the most becoz that's the stage in one's life one is influenced the most. The main point in this drama is the female lead trying to mask her insecurities with makeup and if we came solely for just the romance or comedy then that part of the story is useless.

My concern about this drama is not even the cliches or tropes but the fact that the aspect they were meant to concentrate on wasn't. This drama was meant to focus on the fl and her character growth was meant to be the most important aspect of it not even the male leads. The love triangle was meant to be a secondary aspect. That's why I appreciate Gangnam beauty bcoz they focused on the main aspect of the story, the romance was extra. The comedy in TB was great but I personally think that if they focused on that aspect people won't even mind the cliches bcoz they were able to deliver what mattered in the story.

True, she doesn't sit for one type of character and genre and her roles are challenging.

The writer made him a star so she has to close his chapter properly that was what episode 18 was abt. We should all agree the writer did his best with this drama. No drama no matter how good is executed perfectly or suites everyone's taste. Even flower of evil that was a masterpiece, people still complained about the last episode even though it ended on a good note, sigh.

The lack of screentime for Cheol Jong is justifiable. We all like to see him but the writer can't just show us how he is recuperating for most of the time in episodes. Most dramas don't even show the ml at all and he'll just make a dramatic appearance in the next episode or the next two episodes. There are a lot of important things to cover in the story so that no minute is wasted and only two episodes are left. I don't like Byun In but he is an important character in the drama and many decisions he made affected a lot of people so I think the writer gave him more screentime so there could be closure in his part and most likely his chapter will end in the next episode.
This episode too showed us how far So Yong/Bong hwan is willing go to save Cheol Jung and it will make thier relationship stronger.
Let's just hope for a good ending.

Actually, it's because of the role she gets or picks. Her main characters are always dull or quiet so most people haven't seen her loud and fun side that's why people don't like her acting. She does make a good action star.

I didn't see Lee ji ah during the script reading, hmmmmmm, these people are playing with my feelings. I won't watch it this it finish airing and wait for some one to spoil it for me if she'll be back. This drama is still getting on my nerves, I wonder what will happen if it starts airing.

I totally agree with you, I read some of the comments from your post and people pointed out that most bls have low quality production that's why it's low, B4 the algorithm changed why were they high. Coming to production, a drama can show it's best form with a low budget and come out better than most. So it's like they are saying IMDb forged thier ratings then or douban and IMDb is thorough when it comes to ratings. It's just a fact and ITSAY is a testament to that. The algorithms for bls drop drastically after it changed that it's almost unnatural while others just dropped by 0.1 or 0.2.

Is it just me but do all bls not pass the 8.5 range. I don't know whether I should call it biased but when the algorithm of MDL changed this is when this problem started. ITSAY'S rating was the one that shook me the most, it is 9.1 in IMDb and even on douban. Some people might think that ratings don't matter but it does a lot. Do you know how many people skip dramas just bcoz of it. I don't follow ratings when it comes to watching dramas or get mad when my favorite bl gets a low rating but it's something that needs to be addressed.
