Yes I did read the novel and I can only agree with you. I'm pretty happy with the cast and really excited to see everyone of them in their full attire. I do think that the styling team is really beyond good, from head to toe everything looks and feels right. So we can't blame them if anything goes "wrong". Let's hope the script is good (from the one leak it looks like it, lol) and the director gives his all and then everything should turn out great.
I can't wait neither, it is crazy how many novels are turned into series. 2021 will be good a year.

I felt the same and was also unable to watch the second season. ^^'
That's true TXJ is really a difficult character to portray and I think most actors would have difficulties acting him. But I also think that Arthur looks really believable as TXJ in leaks, with the costume, make up and hair done, he already has a very prominent and cold aura, And he knows the pressure he is under, so he will do his utter best to act him right.

I wanna add that he acted awesome in Ever Night and displayed a wide range of emotions there. He can act, the role in LOA was just really badly written like the whole series. I'm more than certain that he will portray Mo Ran , Mo Zongshi and TXJ as they should be. Also he stated in an interview that he read the book, so he is more than well informed about the characters and their relationships. ;)
Liked it a lot. Reminded me of skins, a little bit alternative and unusual in a very good way, wished for more episodes, that drama had some potential. Hope to find something korean in this style in the near future. I can highly recommend to give this series a try.
