Also Young Royals, and Skam season 3, these are western masterpieces.
Yes they are, I made it clear by calling them western series, they are nonetheless awesome and can help you distract you from waiting for the release of hyx.
After watching the first ep, I feel like people need to understand, that a good series needs more than good actors, but also a good director and good scriptwriters. Mix didn't act bad, the script and the director were just not good. The first 20mins were a cringe party, the rest a complete mess. In the beginning the writers took the easy way out and told the feelings more than they have shown them (don't tell me how sad you are, how much you miss someone,... show me), which made the scenes very inauthentic and not fun to watch. Then the transition of 'good' Win to 'bad' Win was so badly written that I felt like I missed some scenes. The anger he developed didn't make any sense at all, the writers should have given this development more room, it felt so rushed and out of place, I didn't understand a thing and therefore didn't feel invested, I felt totally left out. The directors' choices are also questionable, I mean, he must have wanted Mix to overact (probably to cover up the poorly written ep.,), otherwise he could have told him not to, but he decided, that Mixs' acting was how it's supposed to be, so blaming Mix doesn't make any sense. I believed his anger, I just didn't understand the reason for it, cuz his Character just didn't make any sense and that is the fault of the director and the scriptwriters.
In conclusion I wasn't hooked at all, I don't see a reason why I should watch the sec ep., maybe the script will get better, two writers of this series also wrote Not Me and I mean that series keeps me alive at the moment, so let's hope this series is worth watching in the end. This wasn't a horrible series start, I've seen worse, but I guess the expections from all of us were higher...
A tale of thousand stars and I told sunset about are you are a must watch! And you can also try Why R u and Dark…
A tale of thousand stars is in my opinion the best series, you've gotta watch it, it's not that cringe and really fun to watch, also music and camera work is pretty good. Then I gotta mention Manner of Death and Together with me, cause the main lead characters of them are awesome, they not just have a really really good chemistry when they are on camera but also off camera they are really good friends, so you feel no awkwardness when watching them make out lol. (written from someone who drops so many thai bls cuz of their cringeness)
Two Things: First of all I think that woh' s release isn't such a bad thing for hyx and spl. After I finished watching Untamed I was desperate to find something similar and I would have paid everything to see a drama like woh afterwards. So we shouldn't forget that woh brings traffic to the genre, hence to hyx and spl. The second thing. I know tencent is a big company with enough money but I also think that they want the profit of hyx and spl this year. I can imagine that they already planned the next year dramas with this years approximate income and you can't tell me that they easily would forego the money of hyx with such a large budget. So I am convinced that tencent has a plan and that they'll stick to releasing hyx and spl this year.
He posted it on weibo but I just checked his page and it's gone, not sure what that means but mdl has a pic in the photo section of it : https://kisskh.at/photos/17Axz_3
has anyone talked about the fact, that the co director posted a ranwan pic with mariah careys without you lyrics on it and the first vid of this song that you can find on youtube lasts 4:15 min?? what a god damn coincidence... asdfgh

The first half is translated by Rynn, she is still on it but posts new translated chapters pretty irregularly (you can follow her on twitter: https://twitter.com/rynnamonrolls?lang=de ).
Apart from that exists an auto translated version which a fan edited and is pretty readable.
