I’m aware it’s a common trope. My point isn’t that it shouldn’t exist, just that people are allowed to find it frustrating—especially if they’re watching for a specific actor. Saying "just don’t watch" kind of ignores that people are just discussing their preferences here.

Yes he's a great actor. I think he might be the bad guy again in Colony (his upcoming film).
Oh yes from posters it looks like maybe but he makes even the bad guy so fascinating to watch😂😂

So happy to see Kyo hwan finally getting the main lead he DESERVES. Loved him in Kill Boksoon and OMG I hated his character in Escape 😂 (which just proves how insanely talented he is). He can literally do everything. Can’t wait for this.

Review Still Shining
Sadly if he will give another chance to second FL then how can he qualify for overly simp, No self-worth , Emotional doormat energy ML and can wait for FL for eternity.
On Still Shining 18 days ago
where we will be - Nowhere near my heart not even mind in shot nowhere
what will be doing- Simple ML simping over FL still after decades waiting for her to reconcile still believing this is love not toxicity and FL maybe finding new BFs in shot living her life.

I actually don't understand the massive critic. Two broken teen souls thrown randomly together in a small village's…
Saying “there are many forms of love” shouldn’t be used to justify unhealthy dynamics. Where is an honest conversation with each other ? If love consistently creates insecurity, confusion, and emotional hurt, then it starts to look less like love and more like instability or attachment issues.

Love isn’t just about feelings, it shows in how you treat the other person. If she’s hurting him, being inconsistent in communication and doing things like drinking with her ex, then it’s fair to question that “she clearly loves him". Yes, her trauma explains her behavior, but it doesn’t make it okay. Everyone has struggles, but that doesn’t mean you can ignore the other person’s feelings.

The idea that “they’re just broken teenagers” can become an excuse that lowers accountability. Many people go through pain and still manage to respect the person they care about. Struggle doesn’t cancel responsibility in a relationship.

i believe shin jaehe is only a cameo in this drama, he doesn't have a loveline with the girl. he hasn't appeared…
ohh sadly this happens a lot with me the second couple i like in dramas (more than main couple) writer don't usually like them they will always have very less screentime or other couple don't end up together

Sometimes i feel the writers just don't like me and my preference 😂😂

I too feel “over-devoted ML who waits forever while the FL figures things out” needs to be change now yes…
No please don’t apologize for the long paragraph, honestly it was more engaging than half the Kdrama synopsis these days at least yours had genuine feelings and emotion.
The storyline u told about both ML and FL about virtual dating was spot one, would defiantly love to watch that kind of drama.
Hope as time passes we can se a shift from this and MLs could also be allowed to explore their feelings instead of being locked into one person immediately, it doesn’t make them any less of a "green flag", just more human and balanced.

I too feel “over-devoted ML who waits forever while the FL figures things out” needs to be change now yes…
Sadly a devoted ML chasing after the FL is still very much a selling point in K-dramas. For me FL staying passive while ML does everything feels outdated now and i too want romances that are about mutual choosing, not one-sided chasing. Efforts should be done both side then we actually feel the love. The issue i had with shows like "Our Universe" that if FL has right to have option ML should do the same. Unfortunately i have seen some comments where if the ML does the same like FL they considered him as "Red Flag" like why if she can have option let the ML too then only they both can decide what's best for them.

Defiantly putting "it's okay that's love" on my watchlist.

I too feel “over-devoted ML who waits forever while the FL figures things out” needs to be change now yes earlier audience found it cute but now i feel time has changed and thus the audience so the writers needs to do so. I hope they make MLs with stronger boundaries and self-respect and FLs who actively pursue or fight for the relationship.

why can’t they do a 16 episodes series?!!! this will be too short.
Sadly the industry is clearly moving towards 12 episodes as the “new normal”
