Okay, I finally watched episode 1 and immediately regret that I didn't watch it when it was first released. I thought it was going to be another silly BL series with annoying animal sound effects that have become trademarks of GMMTV. I'm so glad that there were none on episode 1 and hopefully on future episodes as well. That interview room scene between William and Est is really good, the acting is superb, and I can feel the pain that both of them are feeling.
If they can keep maintaining the quality like this, it is going to be the best 2024 BL series from GMMTV for me. Now I'm off to watch episode 2!
IMO Doc is right to help those who are about to die anyways, BUT ofc not to shoot Boss like that.
Well, that's the dilemma with euthanasia. Some people agree and some people disagree, including the laws. That's why this series is amazing for dealing with this unusual issue.
Tonight's episode is the best! I love the acting, especially Boss—he's such a cutie, how come I never watch his previous works?
I still think that this one is not deserving a happy ending because no matter how Kan twists his reasons, he's still a murderer, and it will be weird if Wasan just forgives him for killing his mother and drives to sunset with him.
Sammon really loves writing heavy, darker themes, and I think this is one of her best works yet. Euthanasia is a heavy topic, and she successfully wrote an interesting story about it.
I never thought they'd reveal the killers already. I think this is one of those BLs that I don't want a happy ending for the main leads because killing is killing no matter what the reason is.
Well, this is a terrible show. I was expecting a thriller drama full of action and getting a fluffy rom-com instead. Not even the excellent acting of two Ohms, Papang, and the rest of the supporting cast could make me watch this show without skipping or hitting the fast forward button. Leng really needs to work hard on his acting skills, maybe it's too soon to give him a leading role.
GMMTV delivers some bad BL shows this year, none of them are standing out like previous years. Now I'm afraid of what My Golden Blood will be like, as I have so much hope that that show will be different with a darker tone, but knowing its GMMTV, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be another fluffy romance.
I've just finished watching episode 6. So Pun and Inn are the "real' actors who starred in the BL series, right? They got together at the ending of episode 4 (the BTS scene), and some time has passed, they went through breakups and make-ups, then acting together again on a new BL series (episodes 5 & 6). I'm a little bit confused because I haven't watched episode 7.
Lol. I always think that whenever Aim appears, she seems to smell something stinky under her nose with that facial…
Yes I understand that her character and plot are supposed to be like that but I'm not too keen about the way the actress portrays her. I know she's new, she needs to learn and improve her acting skills in the future.
I think the biggest mistake that the screenwriters and director made is repeating the mess of the original series with so many characters/couples. If only they'd focus on Noh/Phun and Earn/Pete from the original, I think it would flow better with shortened episodes. There's no need for other couples, as even the novel is mainly focused on the Noh/Phun/Earn triangle, and Pete is just an extra character that appears in later chapters toward the end. It's not even helpful that the editing is really bad on episode 6, some scenes overlapping that I almost couldn't follow.
Although I don't get too excited about New Siwaj being the director, I do kind of enjoy episode 1. I have doubts that this guy can lead an ensemble cast in telling a gripping story, especially after the catastrophe We Are that he brought us. I'm starting to worry that the other two couples won't get the same character development as the first two couples. Anyway, it's good to see Pond again. Love him on Century of Love.
For a moment I was afraid it's going to end like Dead Friend Forever, knowing that Sammon co-wrote that series but thankfully it wasn't. Such a great closure for all the main characters, and this series has become one of the best BL I've ever watched. The plot might be confusing at first, I think episodes 1 to 5 served as the backstory, and the real story started at episode 6, which concluded at the final episode. It's so refreshing to watch a darker tone BL without silly sound effects, product placement all over the place, or cringe-worthy acting from the cast.
How come this "Khun Dad" show has a more interesting side couple (Sam & Yo) than the main couple? I barely get through this by sadly skipping whenever Salin appears, as I can't stand how thick his lipstick is and how annoying the way he speaks and pouts. Well there are two more episodes left, I think I can endure this mess.
When Tao told Third that he would meet his soulmate soon, I kind of wished that later that day they would discover that they were the destined soulmates.
I have a feeling that Kyo is Songjam in adult form. Someone before had a theory that Songjam went to the past, so what if it's true and he ends up waiting for years for the meteor shower to happen so that he can meet Aksorn again? And what if the author of the novel is Songjam himself and the reason why the manuscript ended abruptly is because he doesn't know what happens to Aksorn after he goes through the mirror? And the girl Songjam talks with could probably be Sarocha, who wants to publish the novel, but she passed before she could do that.
