beyond the lost plot
Beyond the Bar started off so strong — the setup, tone, and character dynamics really pulled me in at first. But by the middle episodes, I was honestly confused about where the story was heading. The plot felt scattered and lost its early focus, like it was trying to be too many things at once.
That said, I genuinely enjoyed the main couple and their chemistry carried a lot of the show’s charm. Still, the real winners for me were the secondary couple — they stole every scene they were in and gave the series its emotional heartbeat. Overall, it had potential, but it just couldn’t maintain the momentum it started with.
