I'm apologize in advance but I'm not trying to trash your opinion basically you said "it's like a cake that looks nice and doesn't taste bad" we're I think 4 episodes into the series but it seems a little greedy to look for "special" in a series you describe as okay ish in your own words, there's nothing new under the sun and if the manga was really good and the show so far is decent isn't that good enough why strive for "special or unique" with a story thats neither new or different,I'm not saying you have to finish the show I just thought as a nosy person I'd give my two cents on your expectations, mediocrity exist the best we can do is let loose and enjoy but looking for special is still based on high you raise your standard. Casting book as shone was very off,dude is clearly giving this babies a few years gap and it makes it awkward not sure why but if he was the main character it'd be more acceptable but even so his approach seemed weird and it made the character even weirder that is rival was a kid in highschool, dude is obviously a university graduate with a full time job (or am I wrong),also he was very distracting like a cameo that refused to leave,promising your cousin not to hit on a guy he likes and still doing so makes you an asshole , chasing someone who clearly draws the line everytime is weird,also moo might be adopted cause his mom is insufferable I get moving him was for his own good but for a child you cuddled throwing him out like that made no sense and not letting him have money was worse not letting him learn from his first mistake or giving him another chance imagine Kang wasn't nice (begging and buying things on credit if allowed would have been his best bet or selling his stuff)but whatever parenting style aside lady was a bit annoying she and her actual son shone (there's no need for this rant but I'm having a bad week and they both left a bad taste in mouth while watching this)
