Too safe and it didn't end up being what it wished it could be. The problem with school dramas is that even if you add comic book element and historical side drama is that its too safe to really explore those elements to its full potential. You end up with compromising the plot to be "eh-ok" levels with all three themes. Also the romance didn't develop out from high school so it was just starry eyed Rowoon and Dan Oh. Baek Kyung was the best thing out from this drama and the only thing that the writers had really in mind as a plot point. Other things like the stage, acting out, her illness, etc didn't really had stakes in it for me to keep watching. Praise goes out for Dan Oh acting like a comic character but not making it annoying. Also Baek Kyung and Dan Oh can act circles around Rowoon.

The premise was interesting but here I'm lost. I might leave this drama and then try again after this drama is finished.
