Great Article! I love it and you did a wonderful job Catnip! I wish I had time to invest in reading the Manga. I don't think I have to tell anyone how I feel about the Jdrama series. I love it to bits. And Shota-kun as well. Akiyama-san is awesome. that is all. <3

I am back for a second read. I just adore him. When I FIRST saw him in Shining Inheritance (my first LSG drama) I was underwhelmed. As the drama moved along and his character grew and changed I started to like him. I started that drama hating him...ended up loving him. Then through my amazing MDL Chingu's and DB I discovered 1N2D...I FELL IN LOVE. He is the total package. Talented, Smart, Sweet, Kind, Thoughtful! He is an all around good person and watching him in that show made him more and more gorgeous as time went on. Personality really can make you beautiful...and sometimes the opposite. But Lee Seung Gi is awesomesauce. I want my daughter to hurry up and grow up and marry him. (You know how I feel about him Sleepy!) <3

Aren't SBS, MBC and KBS regular National broadcast channels? I don't think they are cable. TVN is cable and so…
I was just confused because a lot of the shows and channels highlighted in your article are national and not cable. Good Article though. :)

The cable dramas most definitely owned this year. Reply 1997 and Queen InHyun's Man easily make it to the top…
I know~ Really, in the end it was about the acting and I must admit, some of the eye candy, that made me keep tuning in. It is so strange to me how a drama can do that. Sometimes really good acting can save a drama for me and other times, even good acting CANNOT save a crap drama. **see Lie to Me and Big** Both cases of the opposite being true for me. and YES... Man did Nice Guy have some serious plot holes. LOL

This years best for me were Reply 1997 and a Gentleman's dignity.
Gentleman's Dignity was one of my favorites too. <3 Loved it.

^^ This ^^ Of the ones you mentioned that I watched, I agree with everything you said Reply 1997 & QIHM were two of my favorites of the year as well. and Nice Guy... Loved it while I was watching but looking back, I think realistically, I have to give my love for SJK most of that credit. LOL

I don't really know the reason but I compare Moon Huggles Sun to Princess' Man. I am one of those people who DO feel TMTETS IS overrated. I mostly found it a little bit boring. I liked it but did not love it. By the same token, I think Answer Me 1997 deserves all it's hype. I adored it's comedy, format, love story, bromance...every thing about it. Save the constant sheep noise sound effects. LOL

These were just released or will be right? I wonder how long it will be before we can actually watch with subs! :(

So Ji Sub's English in I'm Sorry, I Love You was PAINFUL. Especially since his character supposedly grew up, almost his whole life in Australia and mostly on the streets. How is it possible that he wasn't fluent in English with a distinctly Aussie Accent? Additionally, why wasn't he total crap at Korean? Really, he was merely impolite. LOL Bottom line though... So Ji Sub's acting in that drama makes all the rest "null and void". <3 Ahjussi.

It's the 17th, the cast of TGS have been back to work since the 11th. We'll see how it goes from here. I am watching…
I read about it last week on DB. They walked out on the 8th and were set to go back on the 11th with promise of payment. I haven't heard about any further episodes of non payment so far but... it's only a little over 1/2 way complete so I am hoping it doesn't happen again.
