This was what I needed for my stressed life - a fluff show with 0 drama, breakups, misunderstandings, etc. Just pure romance show. Is it long? yes. Does it drag out? I didn't think so. did it make me hungry? Yes!

The chemistry between the cast was off the charts, particularly the leads. This is my first introduction to Chen Zhe Yuan, and I loved it.
I'm not the biggest Shen Yue fan, but I think this was her best work yet.

Love Script bothered me for similar reasons, even though I still enjoyed it. I'm sure if I rewatched it would be worse.

Overall, I thought the amnesia was handled very intelligently and maturely. He didn't turn into an idiot, he's still a very smart man even though he was Grand Tutor. Probably the best amnesia story I've watched, and let's be honest, there are a lot available! Even though it was dubbed, I thought the dubbing actor did a good job syncing. I enjoyed Love Script as well, but Be My Princess just blew it out of the water for me.
