One can argue by your logic that, even she tried to run away with the children. For a child to decide, he or she should be able to understand the consequences. They were, what 7 and 3? If what she wanted was for them to choose, she should've waited till they came of age. And moreover ml seems like brainwashed by her. Children tend to be with their mother more, than their father. And she took advantage of that over ml. Ml not wanting the empire rooted from his anger over his father killing his mother. To be honest, both father and mother were awful for what they did to feng suige. Poor guy.🥹🥹🥹🥹

For a healthy family submission from either partners at right time is absolutely needed. I ain't justifying him killing the ml's mother. But she seems like a selfish woman. I don't like where this is going for the princess. Please don't humiliate her character. That ba***** of the emperor is giving me bad vibes. I don't want her sunny and loveable character to be ruined for her to understand the way of life.😭😭😭😭
