Three last episodes of this drama were disappointing. I thought it would be a success for CHJ, but I don't think it was. I expected more effort from him and from Sung Kyung in promoting In Your Radiant Season.
Remember the person who's going to talk to the detective who gets killed at the beginning? The one who speaks out loud while the detective is interrogating the protagonists about the break-in at the house.
I’m glad that in this Chinese version, they removed the photo of his wife from his desk. She was a character I couldn’t stand in any version. I really wish the remake had the courage to bring them together at the end. That doesn’t mean I don’t love the original version or this one.
I still cannot watch any of the dramas or films Lee Sun Kyun made: his death hit me harder than I thought. So…
I try to keep him in my memory so I’ll never forget what an incredible actor he was. He’s in my all-time favorite work and I was always looking forward to his projects. He basically shaped my growth/coming-of-age in the Asian world.
His death hit me really hard. I still can’t believe he’s gone. It feels so unfair.
He's the actor I've followed the most in my entire life. I miss him every time I watch his work, and it hurts when they remind me that there won't be any more.
He is more intimidating in obsessive behaviour, not about physical appearance, I agree with you in this even though…
You're right! His performance in My Mister was incredible. I think Lee Sun-kyun's, IU's, and Ge Ki-yong's acting are the only things this remake won't be able to match. Even so, I'm rooting for the story to be really well-developed across the 28 episodes.
Finally, someone in the industry has remembered Lee Sun-kyun. An incredible actor who was hounded and investigated based on false accusations. To me, losing him — quite simply the greatest actor in Korea — was one of the biggest losses of recent years. No one will ever be able to fill his place.
I find it a bit strange that they cast Zhang Xin Cheng as the creditor. He’s practically the same height as the protagonist. Jang Ki Yong’s height made him look extremely intimidating/threatening, while I don’t really get that same feeling with Xin Cheng.
There's no way Kiho could be Woohak. How would he wait for Mokha at the appointed place, given that Woohak lost his memory when he was still a teenager?
