A rare, outstanding series that made it genuinely hard to let the characters go. Without a doubt, one of the best BL dramas in recent years.

I'm on EP 10 and weirded out by the prince and his cult. A turn I didnt expect. Not sure how I feel about this.

Let's say he was full of guilt feelings because of his dad who killed Hee-joos brother willingly. It's a Korean drama thing to suffer for actions family members did even if you didn't know it before. He could have just left her. That would have been also out of character but maybe he would have thought that she could be happier without the burden of his family history. BUT that he went to into Chackie Chan - Braveheart mode to fight a fight that isn't his. THAT was the dumbest sh*t ever. And yes ... it was even crazier of her to search for him. He broke all his promises for leaving her.

wouldn't that be even more dumb? what did she do? didn't let him go on with his revenge plan? didn't he say he wanted to punish himself?

Out of nowhere he leaves her when for the first time they could be happy. ML being a "freedom fighter" in a fictional country, seemed like the writers decided this after drinking together. what kind of self punishment was this? 😅 I really enjoyed the Drama but the Argan part seemed rushed and absurd.

The kisses were horrible. Other than that the drama was pretty enjoyable. Heartwarming and entertaining. It's not just about our love couple but also about their families and the struggle life puts you through.

the last few episodes were so confusing.
I liked the idea of the plot but the execution was a bit of a mess.

This drama definitely needs a trigger warning. I thought it was a lighthearted one about a young women, who leaves her draining job in Seoul to find peace in a small town. But the first episodes I was waiting on good things to happen and the last 5-6 episodes got darker and darker. Sometimes I asked myself what kind of story the creator wanted to portray and how should the audience feel about it. I didn't came to a conclusion. I just followed the storytelling and waited for the emotions I might feel. Sadly I wasn't feeling much in every episode. 7/10

This series is good, no question. But I'm on episode 16 now and somehow wish this would be the last episodes. IMO the plot got a little slow at this point and things are repeating. I hope the next episodes will speed up with the pace.

I enjoyed the first half of the series but in my opinion the pacing was to slow. Storywise there wasn't much happening in the episodes. Unfortunately the last episode took me three weeks to start. I lost my interest although the characters were so lovable and comforting. But if they do a 3 season I will definitely give it a try.

Truly a BL masterpiece! Great storytelling, superb acting and I loved the European style. I hope the Team will be honored with many awards. The topic of mental health is depicted very nicely. Season 2 maybe? That would be awesome!

Yes among the developed countries it's #1 :( I hope some things change in the future. At least now with the sudden passing of Moon Bin, Idols were allowed to talk about it this time. They even said their condolences. Thats totally now and a good change. Let's hope for more openess, that will lead to more prevention programs.

SK doesn't know sh*t about mental health, therapy, depression or healing traumas. I think that was wonderfully potrait. You can't compare European and American therapy standards to SK. Also suicide is seen very differently in Asia overall. I got the feeling that the humans as individual beings are not that important. You are a victim of the system that is all about work and success, if you're too weak to make it. The sudden news of another Idols death is a huge indicator for this. Suicide is tragic in Asia but somehow nothing special. The government doesn't want to change a thing. no prevention, no better mental health care.

it's true ... you can't heal someone and healing doesn't take a couple of weeks ... ofc I want a happy ending for both but right now it would be best to part and maybe meet in a few years.

I agree with you. What JW did was unacceptable and JH got all the rights to distance himself from him. BUT love is love and maybe JW will find a way in his heart to make up for his mistakes.

that's what I thought too. he really must have strong feelings for Jae Won to endure this shitshow.
