to be honest i hate the idea, after how terrible the american remake of boys over flowers was, but seeing as this is going to be an ABC drama it will have more funding and hopefully better actors, plus i'tll probably be better too seeing as the director of the original is going to be involved
one thing that im thinking though, is why are americans trying to remake korean dramas recently? i know that koreans do take some inspiration and also have remake american films/dramas but for me if its the other way it doesnt tend to work, mainly because korean humour and culture is so different from american culture and humour

hmm what to say about this short drama, well each ep only being about 15 mins it felt kinda rushed at times and well like it was missing something, i feel that although you got some idea of what happened before they met its not enough as you only see the past through the short flashbacks, but what i did like about this drama was it was a lot darker than most others and the tension between the main characters i liked but the ending was awful and well didnt feel like it was finished, although the drama was adapted from an online novel so i expected it to be shorter other dramas, what i would like to see is a remake maybe by korea it is really a great storyline it just needs a few tweaks to fill in the gaps and make it that little but better :) other than that it was an interesting drama

the only thing about this live action is that well saburo is supposed to be a high school student and i cant really see orguri shun as a high school student anymore, not since the hana yori dango days, he looks too old even if he was to wear high school uniform, although he would look good in the edo era clothing

there are so many rumours flying around about idols doing bad things and tbh i usually dont believe them as the facts and evidence isnt there and a lot of the time its just anti fans trying to make the idol look bad, but this time i believe its true, maybe not to the extent its been shown as in the media, after all the media likes to make it more dramatic so they get a story, but the fact the police are involved and there is some evidence, like you say he was dating her at least a year and he admits there was a one time beating, but tbh even a one time beating isnt exactly great, i have heard rumours about his anger issues so it wouldn't surprise me if he actually did beat her, i mean look at those bruises its pretty vile really i have to say i hope the truth comes out soon, but part of me thinks it will be dragged out because so much information will be withdrawn, another reason i think its true is because how his agency have just admitted to a one time beating but now say that any more information will be from the police, so part of me thinks they know the truth of what happened but are with holding information to protect their idol otherwise itll make them look bad, sometimes those who are famous get away with a lot of shit and are treated differently just because they are famous, which is all a load of BS they are human too why should thye get away with beating innocent people and crime etc.

to be honest this movie was just meh for me, i love romance and music so a film involving both i thought ah great but it wasnt really anything special i didnt feel much chemistry between the main leads :( and the acting wasnt awful but nothing amazing either, one thing i did love was the ost for the film it was great i rarely find a drama/film where i like most if not all of the songs--also subs are available on drama.net now but under the name the liar and his lover

it never aired, well they were supposed to air it on hktv but from what ive heard a lot of dramas were supposed to air on hktv, there is something about hktv trying to get permission be a channel on tv in china as they are kinda strict on what can air on tv so i have a feeling like the many other dramas it will never air :( although i have seen a few raw clips on youtube so im slightly confused

pretty much what id expect from a mini drama its short simple cute and keeps you interested although i do wish it could have been longer as in more eps if not i hope for a season 2. the acting wasn't corny and surprisingly quite good with decent amount of eye candy :P and it definitely filled up my craving ive been having for a decent vampire drama, in fact this drama actually reminded me of vampire host, it had a similar sort of vibe although it was less of a comedy but the relationship between the vampire and main girl was similar even the main girls tough personality was similar XD here hoping for a season 2 :)

i think my expectations were too high for this film, think because everyone went on about it, it was good and i have seen the anime although ive completely forgot what happened n the anime so on its own the film was good with lots of twists and it did leave me wanting more, part of me hopes there will be a part 2 to the film so they can explore further mysteries

yeah lol there are a lot of odd rumours, ones like joes diary entries about mike he and how me loves him... lol but they are good friends XD seen clips of them in shows

i dont know whether its true or not but may be you could have mentioned about his relationship with mike he, there are lots of rumours going about about them being more than just friends lol XD i dont believe it but they do have a bromance going on

and i have listened to a few songs from kat kun and arashi a while back i liked a few songs but i cant remmeber them
and i learnt french and german in school i got good grades which surprised me but now i cant really remember or speak it well but if i was to read it i could roughly translate it to english, more german though french is no longer in my vocabulary XD but like you say its a bit pointless learning it if you dont speak it often enough you will forget it and i found when we learnt it we didnt really learn it just memorized certain phrases
id love to learn korean or japanese as i plan to go there some day i know a little mainly from watching dramas, mainly korean and i have attempted to teach myself, i did used to know how to read hangul but as i didnt use it often i only can read a few letters now

yeah i always find i can send more than the limited amount of characters XD and i dont tend to listen to jpop so much, ive never really looked into it, ive heard of a few girl groups but japan to me makes them out to be all cutesy and girly like if you know what i mean, from what ive seen they like to dress the girls up in short dresses and lolita style stuff but then again that is japan XD in kpop i dont tend to like many girl groups either although there is some difference from japan and i do like some of their songs but i like more female solo artists because then you can really hear their voice as they blast out the powerful and high notes, artist like lee hyori, i loved her music and loved her on family outing XD i miss that show but running man is just as good :)
i listen to some mandopop songs, usually songs i hear in the taiwanese and chinese drams that i like, and japanese rock :) gakistal is great i swear gackt and hyde never age cannot believe they are in their 40's although they do look vampire like in their music videos and slightly plastic

yeah my friend got me into anime too she was always going on about it so i checked it out and got hooked XD
tokoshokan sensou is an interesting anime i think because its based around books and libraries people tend to not like it, but its different i love the interactions between the two main characters and i love a strong female lead :)
i admit i dont tend to watch japanese dramas lately mainly because they are un-interesting to me genre wise and even if i do find one i like it turns out to have a weak female lead who only annoys me i find myself sitting staring at the screen shouting 'grow some balls girl, stand up for yourself and dont be so pathetically weak' lol plus i got a bit fed up with the girls in japanese dramas being all cutesy all the time, kinda why i tend to watch more korean and taiwanese dramas recently, they have stronger female leads hot guys :P and also arent all about being cutesy
i also tend to like the more mature genres of manga now too like you say they are more realistic although some scenes can be a bit explicit XD at first my reaction was O_O what am i reading but now its :P aww how sweet lol
one manga i would recommend is anatolia story its pretty cool its about a girl who ends up being thrown back in time and how she copes of course she end up having all sorts of danger and has a love interests :) i wont spoil it for you but its great, but its also quite long i havent finished it yet :( when i have time i plan to

yeah in the past i watched it pretty much all the time i tend to watch more dramas than anime these days, but go back and forth between them XD my fave genre is rom com too i cant really remember all the animes i have watched but im guessing ive probably seen about 100 at least XD i tend to find my favourite ones are the older ones from the 90's and the ones that are set in high schools but i like a change every now and then, im currently watching tokoshokan sensou which is about library wars, it doesnt seem that popular of an anime but i like it :) i also recently got into reading manga when i have the time :) i like the more mature genres thought ;)not to sound pervy but one i liked was honey x honey XD wouldnt recommend it if you dont like explicit scenes, although its kinda r rated it has an interesting storyline and its sweet to see the romance develop
