true, I actually really liked rinrin and ryopi as a potential couple but the way he acted was really not it doesn't matter whether he was saying it only as a joke or not, I get that rinrin was jealous and may have overreacted because of her past experiences but still in my opinion her anger was misdirected

yeah it was obvious why she was only suspended but on the other hand I marvel at the coincidence of Hikaru drinking Assun's drink right after she put alcohol in it, I really hope it was not arranged by the production team cause if true it would be crazy

I feel so bad for Maririn, she was basically used by Ari to make Hikaru jealous and then he pissed me off with making that comparison between her and Hikaru (which obviously worked in Hikaru's favor) suddenly he doesn't mind her wishy-washy attitude. I don't like any of the men this season, I think the reason they started shit talking Maririn was that none of them were interested in her and they could say whatever cause they knew that none of them would speak up for her (if it were any other girl like Ruru or Hikaru the men interested in them would have started fighting immediately). I think that they didn't expect the girls would rally in her defense, though not all seemed as engaged as Ruru and Assun.

I think there wouldn't be so much hate if they showcased something in the show after all they do have dancing skills. Just like in Street Dance of China where judges (idol judges(!) like Wang Yibo or Zhang Yixing) took part in missions, battled each other and earned respect from the contestants and viewers. And I love chinese version of Produce there's hardly evil editing to find and they do show how the contestants bond with each other, the atmosphere isn't so tense so it's more enjoyable to watch.
