What episode does the FL finally admit feelings for the ML? Please mark answer as spoiler.

Can someone clarify why the murdered deposed queen (Yi Heon's mother) was killed? I feel like I must have missed the explanation somehow but considering how so much of his character is defined by this loss, it was just a blip in episode 11.

Maybe watch them on mute. Lol. I've definitely considered it/done it a few times when the story is good enough to make it worth sticking with it.

Completely agree. Did the annoyance fade for you? If so, how quickly did she grow a brain and use it?

Does Ying Tao become likable? I'm watching episode 27 and find her nearly unbearable. The relationship between her and Su Wuming feels so forced and they are so incompatible. Unless things change, I wish she hadn't been written into the script. She hasn't added anything good to the show.

Any chance you are still going to pick this one up after finishing The Confidence?

I agree. The toxicity of this show killed it for me. I watched the whole thing but it only disappointed me. I don't enjoy watching unhealthy relationships if there isn't sufficient growth by the end of the drama and for me it just wasn't there. I know for many this is a classic but it's just not my cup of tea and that's ok. I hope you find one to enjoy!

I feel the same way. I can't believe they wrote the character this stupid and naive. I'm praying for some personal growth STAT otherwise may resort to fast forwarding.

Yuck. The male lead may be handsome but his character is so fickle that it just makes me want to go on a rant or crawl through the screen and smack him upside his head. The female lead is too blind with hero worship turned love that she just keeps giving in to him. I really don't know of many male leads that behave this way. I've resorted to fast forwarding through every time he and Qingwu are on the screen together. Can someone recommend some period/costume dramas where the leads are completely devoted to each other?

I have the same issue with that type of ending. Where did you stop it? Was it a satisfying ending if you stop watching there because I may do the same. I don't want to miss out on this series entirely just because of the ending.

Definitely not consistent with Tourette's syndrome. She's just flat out childish and obnoxious. I'm only on episode 2 so far and I'm cringing when I see her. Does she get better? Please say yes and soon. Lol.

Where can we get more female leads like her!? Her character was consistent throughout. Never annoying.

So, you recommend watching episodes 12, 13, and 14 and then starting back at episode 1.
