Dropped at ep12, I couldnt get into it ( MCs had no chemistry- maybe this is a slow burn. Fight scenes were great and Xia Jingshi ended up being the most interesting).
For me, this is a big hype drama. Glad some people enjoyed it though.
I liked the eye candy. Favorite part of the story = the couple had enough happy times at the end. Its not one of those annoying dramas where the couple doesnt end up together until the last 10 sec before the end.
I am a Korean saying this, the Turkish version was MUCH better. If you get the chance, watch the Turkish version. Its absolutely hysterical even when you have to read the sub.
And of course I dont need to say the original kdrama version is good, if it werent, there wouldn't be other versions after all.
One of those frustrating dramas where the ML loves the FL, yet still gives her up, hurts her, and agrees to marry the 2FL in the final episodes just to appease everyone else. He only ends up with the FL because the 2FL is the one who lets him go out of love. Let’s be real—if she hadn’t, he would’ve married her as planned.
The 2ML was one of the worst I’ve seen in a K-drama. His acting was forced and the half-English, half-Korean delivery was painful to sit through. Honestly… who wants to watch a story like this?
Is this drama about the ML cheating on the FL, and her acting like a doormat the whole time? I can handle toxic relationship, but not cheating on the FL, and her just crying and taking it because love brain.

Never rewatching this. Self reminder.
Pros: ML is pure eye candy.
