ikr. But i never thought that they actually break up. I thought that maybe somehow they'll find the middle ground…
Yes, one of the most mature break ups I've ever seen in a drama! I like how they said that they still liked each other and tried so hard but it just couldn't work out in the end, quite realistic.
I just finished this and omg I cried so much in the last ep. I had a feeling in the beginning that xu yuan and shen zichang would break up cause that's what often happens when a couple is already dating in the beginning of a show but I was still SO SAD! I think it's for the best though, they didn't match each other in a lot of ways.
I've been following this drama for a while, basically the script reading happened in like March 26th, there were some paparazzi photos released but now they officially released all the photos to start promoting. Btw they started filming in mid April, this is a pre produced drama.
I just watched ep 10 and it's so emotional, I kept crying in like the last 20 minutes TT Also why did Ouyang get mad at Nanjia? Was it because she only wanted a child and not necessarily get married, so he felt like she was being untruthful to him?
I'm really curious what the official English title is going to be. Like will they just directly translate it to "Dalri and Pork Bone Soup", lol that sounds kinda weird.
I'm not sure if the eng subs are doing this drama justice cause I'm watching this raw and let me just tell you, the dialogue is so freakin good. It's super natural and really represents how the average Chinese person talks, with all the natural pauses and slang. Seriously might be my favorite script ever. Also the actors delivered the lines really well, adding a lot to the overall effect of the dialogue.
Watched this with no expectations and it's absolutely brilliant! This is kinda a random critic but I really don't like the poster, it makes the drama seem like a comedy and it really isn't, it's much more serious and glum.
I have a massive girl crush on Yoon Sol, I'm always looking forward to her scenes ahhh. I'm so interested in seeing her development, especially with Ji Wan and that guy that's been calling her.
So the ending is an open ending? We don't really know if (BIG SPOILER) Zhu Yi Zhen is dead or just missing. I feel like logically speaking she would be dead after being shot and it looks like she drowned... Also I think it was just a hallucination at the end cause her hair was in pigtails.
I feel like this drama could be a big breakthrough for Zhu Yilong. At this point, the Chinese audience is liking this a lot more than the Lost Tomb Reboot (reboot did okay on MDL but was rated poorly on Douban).
The last ep made me cry so much but at the same time it gave me so much closure. I almost dropped this cause I felt it moved too slow but I'm so happy I finished it! Also the message of this drama is great and super insipiring.
