Only You was my first Thai GL. So I thought this was the standard and I am totally happy about the cringe since I came from watching soap operas and teleseryes from the Philippines. So I didn't really have much hope for this one and I was right lol.Bodyguard x celeb is actually a good yearning trope but they did not really focus on this trope as much as I thought and that's disappointing. Also, what kind of bodyguard wears heels on the job? Makes no sense lol. They mostly did it to close the gap of the heights of LingOrm which is so unnecessary in my opinion. It's okay if the more femme one is taller. It's hotter that way but that's just me. There's also so much trope in this show that it didn't really make for a good plot. They put in the star-crossed lovers trope here as well which could've so much angst if it was written well. But the fathers not approving the relationship not because of homophobia but because they are business rivals is so trivial that it didn't really hit my feels at all. If Ayla's father is rivals with Tawan, then that would be a better plot. And do not get me started with the sickness thingy that came out of nowhere. Like tf? It was a great gesture from Tawan and all but it didn't really tie to the story. It felt like I was watching a different show. I wished they sticked to one trope and focus on that then maybe we could've gotten a better show. I really believed that the director didn't really utilized the actresses full potential in this series. Orm (Ayla) - she is such a good drama actress. Her scenes always tug at my heart but I just think that there are times that she didn't really need that much emotion on a scene. Like gurl you don't have to cry all the time. I get it you can cry on cue lol. Her character doesn't also have a lot of inner conflict and I wish there was more angst for her character because she got left with no explanation. I would've loved to see a moment of her struggle of her almost giving up on Tawan. The ""is she worth it"" moment. I felt like a monologue would've been perfect for Orm because she would've pulled it off easily. Lingling (Tawan) - I love protective tropes as much as the next person but I don't like the way it was portrayed here. It's giving toxic masculinity, especially when Tawan is an S class bodyguard. She should have better composure and a better grip of her emotions. I wanted the portrayal as ruthless but not violent. Calculated not explosive. Also, the poker face should be for the outside world, and she shows her softness when is alone with Ayla or in her regular life. There's not much of that I've seen. I want the microreactions, the small smiles, the yearning glances. I needed more from Tawan. Because she's a yearner through and through but I just didn't see that on her facial expressions. In actions sure. I like the music and it's been added in my playlist. I like when people make songs for the actual show and not just grabbing a song that's already out there and making it an OST. So I am very happy about the music. I find it very funny that they have to play the "you are the moon in my heart" every single time. Sometimes it's ruining the vibe of the moment because you keep hearing it. The timing was not there at all. I understand if people don't want to hear that song after this show lol. Also, I am very upset that they didn't really use the actors very well. I really think that there's so much more of them than this. Also, I think the intimate scenes could've been better especially the kissing scenes since we are in the year 2025. I thought they would kiss like they weren't cardboards lol. I really wanted to like this series so much because the actresses are quite good. It just keeps missing on where I wanted it to be. Was this review helpful to you?

Most Underrated Thai GL
I had so much hope for this show! This show had the best plot ever! The plot had me gagged. This was the soulmates AU I needed. The way that they were soulmates in every time line had me sobbing. So much potential. And the conflict being fate, a thing you can't control is such a such a unique take, and I was living for it. They were literally against the world together like please huhu. Seeing the protagonists fight something together instead of fighting shows their dynamic better as a couple. I also love the relationship of the sisters, the "them against the world" type shiii. They bicker a lot as sisters do but they always have each other's back. That's why it was so heartbreaking to see the loss. That broke me for real. I also love that Wa is very straight forward about her feelings to everyone, shout out to the rejection scene with Khun. Honestly, episodes 1-6 was missing the impact I wanted. I did love Mae's (Wa) acting on the ep when Four died that scene really got me crying. However, these 2 gave me the run of my money on the last 2 episodes. Because what tf was that acting?! Those episodes were so good that I had not stopped crying and I had to rewatch the last ep again to fully immerse my feels. You mean to tell me that they could act like that? It was so well done! I wish it was like that for the whole series because that was soooo gooooddd!! Still had me gagged to the core. Like tf?! Wa (Mae), what can I say? What a woman! I wanna be like her when I grow up lol. This girl will do anything for love, platonically, sisterly, and romantically. Ya gurl is the goat of dedication. If you google that word her picture will show up. I love how she saw life, she didn't see it in rose-colored lenses nor in a negative/depressing way. She was not naive. Even after all she had been through, this woman still see the good in everyday, value morality, and hard work. I wished Four (Christine) showed more emotions because when she does she gives me passion and devotion. Like mah gurl lezgow! Her sacrifice will forever be the grandest gesture I have ever seen. I just wish that her character had some deja vu on the other timelines with Wa & Vivi. I think that will bring so much impact to her actions in the show. There was only one song that had me from the start. Even if it was just the instrumental, it always gets me. It's such a sad song but it was so perfect! This series could be soooo great! The plot was there. I am upset that they didn't really capitalize on that. It should've been more episodes. If they combined ep 1-6 to just 3-4 eps just to establish the love between Wa & Four then had the last 2 episodes spreadout in multiple episodes then that would've been better if they could only really do 8eps per season. This series almost became my fave but it came up short on things but I still love love this show! Underrated for sure! Was this review helpful to you?

Comfort Show For Sure!
This show has such a cute plot! Honestly going to put as a comfort show for sure! I wish I watched this in high school. I love how they showed their immaturity even though most of them are in their 20s. At first I thought they were actually teenagers, and that shows how amazing the actors are in this show. And I'm not just talking about the main duo. I mean ALL of them. All of them earn my respect for sure. This show is so hilarious and gives me so much nostalgia of all the fun things I did in high school. I love that the decisions that the characters made here are also the same decisions that a high schooler will also make. Sure some of them have wisdom but they still portray and show the teenage personalities here. And I really love that. The loserism in this show is just top notch! It was nerdy, corny, and cringe in the best of ways! Sure there are a lot of goofy and funny moments in this show but I also love how the intense scenes are played out. I felt so understood watching those scenes. It may have been dramatic but wasn't high school dramatic? This show was just like a hug to my past self. Made me think that even though my school and family life is not as good as this, I had good friends who helped me made good memories. That's why this show is top-tier in my opinion. The acting in this show is also very very good. Milk (Ongsa) had the loserism to a T. It was so good that I thought she was a little like this in real life. I wasn't a fan of Ongsa at first because of the catfishing but when her moment came when she broke down to her family. I get it. That scene was so powerful and heartbreaking because a lot of queer people relate to that. I finally understood why Ongsa did it. I liked Ongsa because her character grows, she may not be the best at anything but she tries, and even at trying to try she fails but she still persists to do it next time. As kid who missed a lot of chances, I totally understood why she was so scared. Sun (Love) was the best girl! She was the literal definition of Sunshine. Her character did show maturity but she still had some room to grow, especially the outing scene. It was messed up to out someone but the way it happened was not with malicious intent. She was hurt and she was trying to understand why Ongsa lied. She was such a good character with a lot of depth. Aylin (View) this was such a good character and representation. Her braveness to push through her uncomfortability to express herself to people she cared was something to live by. Luna (June) was so patient, sweet, and respectful. The actors in this show is just *chef's kiss*. I would also like to mention the OngsaSun's first kiss. That scene was perfection itself. The location, the event, the time, the place, the music. Best first kiss I've seen for sure! It was so so sweet. The OSTs are also really good. It stayed on theme and I can keep listening to it everyday, and I do. This is a show you can totally watch when you want some fluff because this is god-tier fluff! Was this review helpful to you?
