See I saw that it was heavily implied that her mom being there and experiencing that is actually the most important reason to her but she's not able to allow herself to make a decision based off that, so she's come up with all these other reasons.

WDH would have chemistry with a piece of driftwood, cause never, not once in any drama has he not had great to off the charts chemistry with the FL -and- ML both, and usually also the second leads and all side characters like be for real please

I am a Kim Young Dae enthusiast not even by choice, idk this guys just has some sort of hold on me and I end up watching every show he's in. I guess I'm the only one here for him vs the FL (who is great, too) lol

KYD has his flaws but he tends to have great romantic chemistry with every FL, he will deliver I promise.

He struggles with the more dramatic scenes but he's aces at comedy and romantic scenes so I think he'll do well here.

KYD is the type of ML that will act up or down to his FLs level. This will be good for him to learn more from a senior actress.

So KYD is actually a fantastic comedic actor, great romantic actor, and then a decent dramatic actor with some glaring weak points. He has had great chemistry with not only FLs but other side characters in the show in every show I've seen. Off screen he has a decent social following and even if shows ratings aren't always great he still trends well. This why I think he keeps getting roles. And he seems like a respectful and mature guy, so maybe his reputation is good so directors or companies want to work with him. For me there's just some sort of charisma about him, idk I just have to tune into every show he's in.

I'm tired of seeing Kim So Hyun in the exact same role-- an uber-independant woman who is practical, guarded and unable to connect warmly or passionately with her love interest. I actually quite like her, I just want to see her play a different role for once.

The taboo about older/younger relationships is almost always the power gap between them. Usually someone who is much older would have more money, more freedom, more influence and could use those to dominate or manipulate the younger, more dependent, ignorant and innocent person. So if the guy is now a HSer again, he won't have any of those and there won't be any power imbalance between them. So I agree with you

So many people in entertainment industry/arts have this very quiet but deep striving towards dreams that they are almost too afraid to even acknowledge or put too much hope into because of how badly they want to make it, and to make a difference somehow with their performances or work. And it seems BWS is finally able to really allow himself to feel that dream and how badly he wanted to make it here, and it's just really inspiring and heartwarming to see.

This is so lovely, and is not a weakness AT ALL. It seems like BWS had a lot of pent up dreaming and striving with his life and with acting, and he can finally allow himself to feel just how important it was to him that he find success in a way that felt like he was making a difference for those who watched his hard work.

The scene with the grandma also made me burst into tears out of nowhere, I found it one of the most touching of the show.

Something I love about K dramas of all genres is how often men cry in them--even in the crime dramas or action dramas, men show their frustrations or sadness or grief or joy through tears quite often. It's not something you see much in American TV, and it's super refreshing.

Why does this have such low ratings?? It made me think it wasn't that great but it's quite popular and people say they love it. MDL rating system is so out of whack.

This is such BS. All the popular BL is the same tropey straight romance but with 2 male leads, and relies on the very taboo that keeps it from becoming more accepted to get straight young women's knickers all curled up so they'll binge watch episodes, as they have the highest viewership by far for BL. The BL that tries to tell an authentically gay story for gay men has no popularity.

This is some weirdly misplaced and ignorant entitlement.

I thought the same when that happened, but by the end I was even more connected to the other boys and cared about them so much.

Minki needed to make a super strong impression to set up the story of the other boys, so his death SHOULD hit that hard, unfortunately it's not a show about him, it's about the remaining boys and how they carry on his dream. It's a shame to miss out on that beautiful story of all the other wonderful members of the band.

I am dying to see WDH in a comedic role, he has impeccable comedic timing, I need this to come out yesterday.
