He did love them indeed, unfortunately his wife fail to understand him and see things in a logical perspective, she's the one who want to abandon him and take away the royal offspring

Well with all these mere reasons put in place by the Writer to justify this, my facts still remains the most critical concern.

My sentiment for the king..
This is the only drama of this ML that I watched passed ep 5, as someone who have dropped his other dramas, I can say he's like a totally different person in this drama... He's fight scenes and personality left me unforgettable.... Can't get enough of his expression and majestic voice... Some of his scenes makes me wants to rewatch... At first I started this drama because of the FL, but right now I'm watching for both of them...
As for the kiss you talked about, I don't find it cringe rather it proves how comfortable they are with each other..

I have been helding back to rant this out since ep 24....

The ML is good in every way but I just hate the fact he's not ambitious,, what's wrong having an ambitious ML who also does everything in his power to get the throne??
Or This is a typical green character who want to tell us they are not greedy and uninterested in power and want to live a secluded harmony life??
I have had enough of such tropes because is totally unreasonable that he becomes a Military General to protect his country and can't take the throne to protect it more...
If the country is in chaos, where comes a harmony life??
With a bad emperor and evil ministers, where comes a loyal officials talk more of a killer God like him??
If the country is taken by evil people, can he still be able to protect his country??
At last, his father was totally right in all of his actions even though it seems overboard.
