At ep 32, the equality and imbalance in this relationship makes me unable to like it anymore,
There's different between hyping that she likes him and true emotional delivery.
The FL fell flat in this aspect and there is no evidence of her likeness of him in her emotions,
We can only depend on hearing from her friends that she likes him.
Remember is not entirely about the pacing, but the true emotional delivery that could have made this slow burn worthwhile
Her arrogant approach in ep 32 finally makes the entire slow burn purpose worthless.

All the writer did was to feed us water with empty container.
Says she likes him while the atmosphere feels otherwise. A wasted potential 😭

The boy have loved her throughout the 30 episode but Girl have spent the whole 30 ep and still can't tell if she like him or whether he liked her..

And what I hate most is the messaging the writer used for chasing the girl..

Like girl you mean he should become a prodigal son before you can accept his pursuit, what a very lame logic.
The writer lost the true meaning of mommy boy..

This isn't that type of mommy boy everyone hates and that guy is far from that.

Don't want to comment on the video game couple because I never bothered to watch them

8 episode to go and the romance still feels like the beginning
Their supposedly love interactions becomes excessively repetitive.
I have watched many slow burn romance that gives a brick by brick emotions but this one isn't.
My feelings about their relationship is statically unstable.
Like I want them to comfirm their love but at the same time I feel reluctant, I feel there is no emotional spark yet and the romantic emotion is not there and we'd end up feeling absolutely nothing when they became official.

What a thousand way to voice out frustration and disappointment, I'm with you on that, especially the parents, what a waste of screen time, I have skipped almost all their parts.

Somehow I feel like the 2nd couple Luze and jing jing is too fake and artificial
To be specific, I think the guy really love her while the girl is forcing herself to love him, her love doesn't look real at all.
It was as if she was just cooperating with the write to finish the plot.
I don't feel anything in their romance

But that's the premise of the show, and I don't think he's annoying, I don't remember the last time I laughed this hard in a show,
The ml have brought humor to the screen with his comedic personality, that actor is a natural comedian and I love watching every part of him

This drama is not getting the recognition it deserves, coz how come the rating stuck,

It was really hard to keep up with her ever since she started killing all her heros think is cool, she was once my favourite but I began losing appetite to watch her dramas any Futher. No one should make their partner suffer in relationship and in real life, no one is going to grovel over you and let you punish them as you please.

Think you all have buy into it, Japan of the past might be horrible but the Japanese in the Republican Era drama are way more demonised that even I as non Japanese can't help but sigh.
You really don't have to be ashamed of your ancestors regardless of how horrible you have seen them portrayed in dramas..
Remember, winners writes the story and not everything you are told are true.
