My take on this matter..
Well I think her reaction is normal, this isn't just about her sense of justice, this shows she was already bounded by some real feelings for him and feels attached to him,
Seeing him alive and reacting this way was because she feels betrayed, her feelings for him made her feel betrayed.
Unknowingly She maybe perhaps feels that the ML should feel this same way for her and shouldn't have kept her in the dark for long.
She already sees him as family and not some stranger anymore.

And the way he delivers his line is very catchy, I'm addicted to his scenes,
His expressions, dude don't give a fuck, he puts rogue people in their place.

Yes he's just too good more than I expected,
The Rustic sword master and Lin Mu Han, any of them could have been the SML..
