Their chemistry could have been better if Yexiwu killed Tantaijin in the mortal world ruthlessly for revenge.

Lol everything u said was what make their romance more interesting. Betrayal, ruthlessness, misunderstanding and revenge is critical for all romance drama.

Every romance drama needs to have such character as well as Revenge, ruthless and misunderstanding.

It could have been more interesting if Yexiwu killed Tantaijin in the mortal world after he murdered all her people in immortal world. I hate that she got soft and fall in love with him.

So the most important thing the drama is missing is Revenge and ruthless.

The reason why is complicated romance is that from the beginning of the show, they didn't fall in love with each other.

YBC have always loved Tantai jin/ ming ye
While the second male lead have always loved Li susu.

So the second couples love story are more interesting and that is why is called complicated romance.

The main couple hv always. Been a love moth and loved each other throughout their whole reincarnation, and thats boring.

The drama is nothing without YBC. I'm just disappointed in the two main lead in this show.
