Oh okay.

He saved her only once.

It was the opposite for me though. Her character evolved realistically. She cried because of the situation they found themselves in. A long distance relationship with no means of communication and knowing there's danger looming. Unexpected meeting at the bamboo forest, feeling that she was being dumped, he being stuck in the past and communicating with her by adding new memories and her not knowing if he'll ever come back. Lastly, he deciding to change the past, meaning she's going to lose him forever… That's a lot.

Anyway, thank you for the reply.

“She also conveniently turns into a weepy damsel in distress whenever they need to hype the hero at her expense. Strong but weak enough for the hero to save her again and again.”

I've been scratching my head regarding this statement. Was she rescued several times by the hero? I remember she was kidnapped and when she got help from the kid, she fought her way to escape, and only until she was outnumbered did the hero come to save her. Was there another situation where the hero saved her? Was that scene(s) deleted from Netflix? Where can I find it?

“Crying does not make you weak. Neither does it make you strong. It is just an indication that you are too deeply connected with something and that connection is true and powerful beyond belief. It is a human expression of how much something matters to us. Your post-cry reaction determines how 'strong' or 'weak' you are.”

Saw this quote online & it mirrors Kim Go Eun's character to a T.
