well, wasn't this an emotional rollercoaster..? i'd like to say that although i enjoyed the ending, my heart was aching for my baby Nian throughout the entire film. i mean, how much can one human being endure? the false accusations, the overbearing possessiveness, the pain, not to mention growing up in a damn orphanage in his earlier years - he just could not catch a break! and the thing is, he never did anything wrong, not ONE thing. all he wanted to do was love Xie Yan. and then the part at the end! nope, the stuff that happened in the first part, and in this part weren't enough, so how about putting him in a car accident and making him unable to walk without an aid...seriously. that was the part i hated the most - Nian is such a sweetheart, i wish him all the best after that ending. welp..that was my rant! sorry guys, i know it's fiction but i can't help these feelings. ha :')
