I really want to like this drama becos the intro really draws you in but the drama itself just kinda went down…
Oh well that's dissapointing :/ I'm at episode 5 and I was deciding on weither I should continue or not, thinking there might be some interesting scenes later... Guess not
I'm at episode 5 and I can't say that it's boring but I'm really not fan of the lead male character, is he gonna stay like that the whole drama or is there an evolution for his character?
I don't understand what they did to Go woon's personality. The point was that although she wasn't seen as 'pretty' she was confident in her talent and stood up for herself, and that's what impressed Ju Gyeong in the first place since she herself felt so insecure without makeup. Although I like some of the changes they made, this one was a sad choice :/I hope they will develop this friendship a little more in the drama because she litteraly disappeared from the webtoon ^^
I just watched the 5th episode and it made me realised how far the webtoon went from the original theme of story (the accident of the Idol). It's too bad it would have been so much more interesting ?
It's the first time I want to put a comment for a drama that only has 3 episodes yet, but I really wanted to encourage people to watch it. It's just such a nice and touching story, I love the characters ... Hope the rest will be at the same level as this start.
After seeing the teaser, all of my fears about the female lead not being able to convincingly play an "average"/"unattractive"…
You said it all! It would have been so much more interesting to show how some women are actually very complexed without make up. But the fact that those women are represented by a women who doesn't have that problem is just gonna make this whole situation ridiculous... And yeah the glasses... a classic ^^
A good example was the Drama 'Abyss' with the actress Park Bo Young. We all agree she is pretty, but they did a great job at making her a litlle more 'average' without using any of those stereotypes. And she brought so much more to the character, it was really good.
A little surprised they didn't choose someone with a more 'average' beauty for the female lead, she's so pretty how can she play this role convincingly? I don't get it.
This drama took a very different path than what I expected. The beginning was so funny, I didn't though it would become so serious. Not really happy with the end but it was a nice story and the actors did a really good job.
Their isn't that much romantic scenes in it but I think it's a good choice to focus on the main caracter's journey and achievement for once. Saeroyi is a strong character who inspires lots of admiration, has a soft spot of justice and is really kind but isn't a pushover. I really don't like the main female character Sooah since I don't understand her motivations and feelings so it's too bad.
But I really recommand it, it's really captivating and I didn't find any boring chapter. Can't wait to see the end.
