Wtf was that ending? It was so unlogical and stupid of her to leave like that ... His mum just died right after he lost his title so the best solution she found to help him was to leave him alone with the less believable lie ever? How does it make sense ... Given the time it took them to get together I was expecting to at least get a real marriage or epilogue at the end :/
If you're looking for a romantic drama, it's not really what you're looking for: It takes a really long time for anything to actually happen between the main leads. But it was a pretty cute romance with good chemistry between them. The story is mainly focused on investigations, revenge, and political plots but it's pretty interesting and well-written. The FL is amazing and the actress is brilliant. I also liked the ML as he got more expressive and funny as he was getting closer to the FL. Contrary to the Male and Female support roles who both became super annoying.
Shaosheng's mother is just so annoying : she loves to act as if she's so intelligent and knows better than anyone else but the truth is she's just humiliating and belittling her daughter every chance she gets. Her logic doesn't even make sense most of the time and her sense of justice is seriously off balance.
I don't know if they'll make up at the end of the drama but if it was me, I would have a really hard time forgetting all that if my mother had treated that way after abandoning me my entire life ...
I am at episode 22 but I have to admit I only keep watching because I really liked both lead actors from previous dramas. The story is nice but way too long given that not much is happening.
I haven't seen that many Cdramas but this actor is in 4 of them xD And not even on purpose, I just happened to choose dramas where he plays support roles and his characters were all very memorable ... I do wish to see him as the male lead for once ^^
I have read the manhwa of the same name. Is it anyway different? It has set a high standard and I am afraid this…
There are only 2 episodes for now and the story is pretty similar to the webtoon but I don't know where it's gonna go since the drama is supposed to only have 8 episodes.
tbh i feel you. i think the story is quite cute, but the quasibrothers thing squeaks me out a little as well,…
Not really, from what I remember in the webtoon the mom never adopted him, he just went to live with them; and it seems like the drama is following the original story. They're more like a foster family, not an adoptive family. And he doesn't consider her his mom, he called her "ajumma" in the episode.
PS: Why are you guys hiding the comments like you're spoiling something? We're talking about the very beginning of the story, nothing to spoil for now ... ^^
The synopsis is misleading when they called her his 'adoptive family' but yeah they didn't say anything about adoption in the webtoon from what I remember. And he even called the mom 'Ajumma' in the episode.
Loved the story, especially the ML's character. The FL was nice but a little too much: she was either pretty annoying at the begining or way too much 'aegyo' towards the end. A little more balance between those 2 states would have been nice. But I still enjoyed it very much. The other characters' stories were very well developed and interesting, you get really attached to them. The second male lead was so moving and pretty much perfect, I'm not the type to like love triangles but for once it wasn't so bad. Just one advice : get tissues... :'(
So in the same episode (20th) we can have the first woman to be appointed an official position and a duel between 2 men to win the hand of that same woman?? Make it make sense xD
I like both dramas equally. If you are new to them, I would suggest you to watch Word Of Honor first because it…
I really loved The Untamed and I got most of it, but it's true that I understood lots of little details I first missed after I read the book. But yeah both are great ^^
