should’ve been more gay
I’ll start with the obvious. With the amount of BLs out currently which are extremely popular and the general recent surge in the amount of BL. This show should’ve just been gay. I’m not saying they have to kiss or even acknowledge they’re dating properly but forcing Pio into a lavender relationship? Super unnecessary. And omg at least let them hug why are we scared of a bit of physical touch.Jaein as a character was actually written well but they didn’t need to make her be in love with Pio. Eventually taking over her mother’s position and being an anchor between Pio and Jeongyo was more than enough to make her a worthwhile and important character! She can comfort Pio without having to be dating him!!!
On a different note I enjoyed everyone’s acting! There were some awkward points particularly when they were in Europe. I respect that acting in another language takes a lot of skill so I won’t say much but I can’t deny the awkwardness in those scenes…
Song Kang is in no way a bad actor and I’ve watched many of his dramas but I will say I was a teeenie but disappointed this time round, not enough to be upset but it was more noticeable to me. Additionally the early episodes with school uniform felt strange as I do think both lead actors are a little too old to be acting in a school uniform- nonetheless it didn’t impact my viewing experience much!
Going back to the scenes in Europe I was disappointed visually as there were some stunning scenes filmed in Korea but that same aesthetic didn’t carry over. Some parts felt like a travel vlog and I would’ve hoped they could’ve made it more consistent.
Enough negatives! It was a great show and I was at the edge of my seat!! Watching each episode week by week really added some fun to my life and I found myself itching to know what would happen next. The plot twists and suspense kept me on edge and I felt myself empathetic to many of the characters. Though the ending was bittersweet in some aspects I was glad they at least met each other again with a smile.

absolute blast
I’m just putting this out there. I laughed at every. single. episode.The cut scenes of them acting out the BL were peak comedy, love cha hakyeons acting as always!!!
The song at the end caught me off guard but it was so silly and fun, I needed a feel good kdrama and this DELIVERED.
The blonde teacher was a little annoying but he made the story so much funnier. All of the teachers dynamics were hilarious and I still can’t get over the Korean lit teacher having crazy tattoos. what an icon.
Overall, will definitely rewatch when I’m sad or just in need for a giggle.

Just finished the last ep!
I really enjoyed watching each episode as it was released! I was a little dissapointed with the story towards the end… I feel making him lose his memory again was unnecessary and kind of frustrating…. but overall a fun watch! Near the beginning of the story I was so hooked especially as it’s not a trope I’ve personally seen in BL before. But lava as a character slowly became annoying and I fear his reaction to finding out his bf is a prince was not the right way to react. How many times did he have to say “please call me Wave” like that’s you’re boyfriend just do what makes him happy I beg. was really feeling the poor guy’s frustration.Although there were a couple negatives the watch was overall very positive! I probably wouldn’t rewatch it and it’s definitely not the best BL out there but I’d still recommend for giggles.

not too sure
I am admittedly not rating this drama tooo high out of consideration for other dramas I have watched. While it lost me for a bit mid way through I am very glad I picked it up again at a later date and kept going! it’s a very entertaining light hearted drama!I most likely wouldn’t watch again but for the time I spent watching it I would say it’s worth it. Especially for the scene where she absolutely BODIES the director.
I was actually praying she would put all that hard effort she spent on Judo to use and thank god she did even if it was only at the end. As a female lead she genuinely wasn’t that bad! maybe a little pathetic but she wasn’t insufferable and her character really wasn’t the worst.
There were many points where characters were doing and saying things that I just could not relate to at all but when watching a kdrama you have to loose a little bit of logic anyway😂plus it added to the humour making me laugh!
Adnittedly I started watching the show because of Park Seoham he sure did deliver. BUT. the man who played Yoon Haru??? officially a fan he ate that role RIGHT up. his character added the perfect amount of comedic relief and he did such a good job when it came to the body swap illusion. Jang Sehyuk I hope to see you in more dramas.
The plot line including murder mistery was truly was did it for me though because it is one of my favourite genres. the tension of a character living or working around a dangerous character while slowly uncovering their true personality always gets me HOOKED. I hope more kdramas with the same murder mystery concept emerge because I really did enjoy trying to work it out with the characters!
Anyways!! overall a good light hearted drama that I’d recommend if you need something silly!

A little disappointed
Now don’t get me wrong. Up until episode 4?5? I was genuinely enjoying this show. I needed that bit of light hearted comedy in my week but I must say it completely lost me.As a person I already know Thai style comedy is a bit hit and miss for me! Usually this comes from cultural references I simply don’t know, but I am also not a huge comedy person.
The fact I was having the time of my life as the start is more than enough for me but I just felt the show dragged on in a way. I love the cast and was really looking forward to seeing Max and Nat in another series but I must’ve gotten my expectations a liiiittle too high.
Especially after DMD releasing a show like khemjira that did seriously well for what I would consider obvious reasons, I think they need to start taking all their releases seriously REGARDLESS of who’s acting in it.
For a light hearted watch it is good and will get a chuckle out of you for sure but it would not be a go to for me to recommend.

stunning
The slow burn of all slow burns. Watching them fall in and out of friendship while realising all their problems were out of love for each other was simply beautiful. The first 3 episodes set the scene perfectly for the last 2 where emotion comes pouring through. The rawness of the two exploring their own sexuality at an age where the world is so confusing. They are both young and controlled by emotion with their worlds revolving around getting into university.all the small details that come unfolded as the story progresses makes it all the more interesting leaving you hooked. I was in tears by the end of it because some of it hit too close to home but that made it all the more special. I am so glad the cinematography was so beautiful and put together. I can safely say this is one of the better BLs I have watched. I can’t wait to watch the sequel.

Khemjira is peak.
I still haven’t recovered from this BL. I have already watched it 3 times and I cannot get over it. I watched this every week in my flat with all my friends and it became Khemjira Saturday. I don’t think I’ve seen a BL that all of my friends have enjoyed to this extent before.The supernatural storyline mixed with romance was pure gold. I was so happy they didn’t go crazy with the sound effects like in some other shows and showed a more mature approach. The emotional connection between characters and how you slowly learn more about everyone and see how their love unfolds really keeps you captured, all while seeing how they’re going to make it through unexpected challenges.
Keng and Namping really outdid themselves, the soundtrack is still on repeat and the whole setting of the show was perfect. I am so jealous of my friends who watched it as their first Thai BL.
I really can’t get enough of this series and don’t think I’ll ever get over the impact it left on my life. I am probably being dramatic but it was genuinely so fun to watch and I will definitely watch it again.

Honest Opinion
As someone who had was really looking forward to seeing lattekim in a series I did love this show!I just think I had my expectations too high. every week I was left on a cliffhanger that kept me coming back for more but the ending felt empty.
I also personally struggle a lot with second hand embarrassment and sometimes JJ’s acting admittedly put me off, but they all worked so hard on the show that it doesn’t matter.
Overall a good show! I wouldn’t rewatch but I enjoyed tuning in every week. A bit dissapointed in some aspects but I am just picky.
Well done to everyone in the cast!
