In the first two episodes I definitely saw that chemistry, especially during the scenes from their past. But then I also saw how she was always the reason for their arguments and that she was also the one who initiated the breakup (apparently due to her pride). I think that the most accurate description of their relationship is that Yeong soo hurts Woong and also herself in the process. In ep 6 she said that she hasn’t changed at all while woong has and I can totally see that. But since she was the problem in the first place I don’t see why their relationship would work any better now than it did before.
Also, NJ seems to really care about woong and I think their (scripted) personalities fit together well with Woong being a bit of an idiot and her experienced and caring.
