I started watching this drama in 2020...and finished it only yesterday. It took me 4 years to finish it! The first half of the drama was really interesting, but in my opinion, it failed in the second half. I stopped watching it halfway because that just felt like a good spot for the story to conclude. But now that I finally finished it, it felt like they were dragging the drama and stretching the story too far, and the amount of plot armor became so dull and annoying. It should have ended around episode 10 or 11 becasue a whole set of 16 episodes was too much for it.

Did they? I must have missed it or it was such a minor mention that I simply didn't notice it. Either way, it still feels like they could have done a better job at conveying it to the audience.

They also completely forgot about the plot of her mother's death. They focused so much on it only for the plot of her mother's death to be forgotten and never talked about again. But other than that, the drama was really good!

I liked the show, and enjoyed it! But there is something that I feel like they completely missed on. I wish they would have finished the plot about her mother's death since that was such an important topic for a while. For me, that is one of the reason why the show feels slightly unfinished. They focused on her mother's story so much only for it to have no ending.
