I've been looking for some BL with plot 👀

I'm worried about this. I feel like some of the Thai dramas coming out are more about steamy scenes than plot. Probably because it gets more views. I'm worried that cbl drama might head in this direction. If the plot driven cbl don't get enough attention :(

I really liked episode 4, is this bromance or romance should be an epic line with all the bromance cdrama before 😂

I know historical dramas are harder to watch because the plots are harder to understand. But the complex plots make the love feel so much more deep to me. I wish this drama would get more views. I know it's not just steamy scenes but I hope people will appreciate plot too.

I'm happy with your analysis, and I agree. We can't compare it to the high budget cdrama being released. This is already a step up from ktl in terms of production. I hope for the success of cbl dramas so we can have more investment and budget for them in the future.

I was a big fan of Ktl and I'm so excited for this drama. I'm sad to see posts saying that no one is handsome. I find them all good looking but does no one care about acting anymore? I'm very happy to see the two leads longing for each other. I would just like more happy scenes and a good ending for one historical bl 🙏 please!!

I still can't tell is Shuhe loved Ziang in the end or if it was a lie too. Did he love him so much but also know Ziang had to pay for his wrongs?

So was Shuhe lying when he said he loved Duan 😭? Or was that a lie too... Just to hit him the most at the end?

In the earlier episodes Shuhe put a fake memorial tablet for Duan for Duan to find and to make him think he was in love with him. Because when they were kids they were separated and Shuhe thought he was maybe dead.

Those items were fake. But Duan still insisted they add it to the fake mansion. But I believe it's bad luck to have a memorial tablet for someone still alive.
This is my understanding of the scene.

Everyone please kindly don't down vote the series based on the ending. Let's show our support to the team (actors, directors, etc) for giving us the first bl historical Chinese drama that made us feel extreme happiness but also extreme pain. Showed us a love story in some difficult circumstances.

I want them to feel supported so they will continue to make bl Chinese dramas with hopes that maybe one in the future can have a more happier ending ❤️
