I apologise for using the word "hate", that might have sounded too harsh to you but people generally use "hate" instead of "don't like" in extreme cases in casual speech that doesn't mean I was calling you out for anything related to "hatred" .

Exactly.. i know this because I've experienced it myself. My family and our former neighbours were in very good terms with each other untill that shitty man tried making a move on my mom. And when my mom rejected him advances he bad mouthed her. I was very good friends with their son..he was like a big brother to me but after things got salty between our families.. we were forced to stop talking to each other. That horrible man convinced his wife that my mom was the one making a move on him and his shitty wife even accused me of seducing her son..like seriously. After this mess my mom didn't allow me to talk to him but we remained in touch and my mom eventually found out about it but I convinced her that he has nothing to do with his parents' bad deeds..and now she's chill about it.
