This show was such a mess I wonder if they had something different in mind at the beginning of the drama but then all of the real life political drama in Korea happened so they shifted things. I feel like they added comedy to make it lighter?? and not feel so serious with the real life protests in Seoul and presidential impeachment. I am trying to apply some reasonable explanation to the hot mess.

I could not agree with you more on all these points. I ranked it higher because of the acting but the show really was a waste of time. I really wished it figured out what it wanted to be because it could have been so much better.
