I absolutely love the ending and I don’t even care if it makes sense or not.For me, it is 100/10. I watch dramas…
About the unexplained ending how he got there, which they clearly wanted to keep a secret lol, if I had to imagine it, I’d say it’s the same way she crossed over for him, and now he crossed over for her. Their souls are bound together through that book, he wrote it because of her and that book pulled her into his era. In return, it allowed him to reach her time because deep down, she wished to meet him again too. You know… like a beautiful paradox!
I absolutely love the ending and I don’t even care if it makes sense or not. For me, it is 100/10. I watch dramas to entertain myself and as long as I’m immersed in the story and characters that’s enough. EP 11 and 12 are pure masterpieces. They had me crying nonstop. Yoona was excellent and Lee Chae Min completely nailed every single scene. His performance gave me goosebumps from start to finish. Seriously, someone give Lee Chae Min an award already! Whoever cast him in this drama, you deserve a raise because he was absolutely perfect for the role.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve enjoyed a Kdrama this much. If I had one complaint, it’s that I want more episodes. The ending didn’t feel rushed since everything was revealed and wrapped up neatly in two episodes, so it is all good, I just want more of them. That’s it.
Apart from Jiyeong and the king’s perfect chemistry, I also like the comedic duo of Jiyeong and Gilgeum, they bring so many funny moments to the drama. Their bond as sisters develops quickly but feels really satisfying. I laughed like crazy at the scene where they didn’t want to be picked up for Chae Hong at first, and when they really weren’t picked up, they complained as if it were a personal insult hahaha! And in episode 3, after a long day of work, the way they casually returned to prison and even put the chains back on themselves as if it were the most natural thing in the world almost made me fall off my chair lol. Episode 4 was on fire from start to finish! The time flew by so fast and just when I wanted more, I realized I have to wait an entire week for the next episode!
After watching two episodes, I can confidently say this is definitely a K-Drama rom-com that suits my taste. I really enjoy Yoona’s acting as a chef, the drama also shows her love for cooking as she uses creative techniques and pays attention to every detail making each dish look both delicious and meaningful. LCM is also charming as the young king. I’m glad they cast him even though he wasn’t the original choice but his chemistry with Yoona works so well and the real-life age gap doesn’t matter at all…they look perfectly matched on screen.
The more I watch this drama, the more I’m drawn to Han Li. At first glance, he seems like a naive young man but he’s far from foolish, he’s sharp and relies on his instincts to avoid falling into traps. Yang Yang looks incredibly natural in this role and of course he’s effortlessly cute and handsome at the same time. I honestly don’t mind whether there’s romance or not since the synopsis already makes it clear that this story is about Han Li’s journey to immortality. I’m really enjoying every moment of it. Great job, Yang Yang!
So I don’t think all the media will cover him up, but I was surprised when I checked the article/news rankings : https://m.entertain.naver.com/ranking Out of the Top 30, only 4-5 articles were about this matter. I expected at least the top 1-5 spots to talk about this scandal, especially since it’s such a big deal for an actor at KSH's level, if you know what I mean.

Glad that Yang Yang is coming back on screen.
For example this article is from major media like OSEN shared a picture of KSR and KSH during her third year of middle school: https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/109/0005259301 ,
KSH talked about him want to marry a 21-year-old woman when he is 41 and they used the picture with them when KSR was still a kid (damn): https://m.entertain.naver.com/ranking/article/144/0001024423 ,
10asia article about the msg that KSR sent to KSH : https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/312/0000703840
