This one was among my first K-drama
First Love is a melodramatic yet emotionally powerful drama that captures the bittersweet essence of youthful romance, family sacrifice, and lost dreams. The male lead and female lead delivered heartfelt performances, anchoring a story that’s both nostalgic and heavy. The pacing can feel slow, and the drama leans heavily into tragedy, which might not suit everyone. Its raw emotion and classic storytelling hold a certain charm. It was broadcasted on TV at the time as no internet was available. Though dated in tone, it’s a meaningful watch for those interested in old-school dramas. A plus point was their clothes were stylist, but not cheesy.
