The original work is hence not the webtoon but The Dude in Me, but I don't have sources. If anyone can confirm,…
Again, the originality of a work isn't about how different it is from other works

The novel added something new to the story, gay characters' backstories, homophobic bullying, deeper themes, and a different perspective on society. The novel should be considered the original work of the adaptation

The original work is the movie The Dude in Me (2019) and not the novel.

Actually this is based on the movie The Dude in Me
The adaptation is based on the gay novel that was based on the movie

In a country where being a member lgbtq isn't illegal.
Islam, Christianity, Confucianism, etc, have varying degrees of influence in Asia. These beliefs, combined with a lack of awareness or education, created a hostile environment for openly gay people

"... only 2 countries"

We have 2 good chocolate chip cookies in the whole box, will we settle for the rest of the burnt and moldy ones? Or will we fight?

Korea is a developed, democratic nation with a strong economy and global influence. It should be held to a higher standard than other Asian countries

some people are hating on this cause the gay relationship was removed since south Korea is still very much a homophobic…
"According to a 2018 academic review, 26% of homosexual men reported experiencing intimate partner violence in their lifetime, compared to 29% of heterosexual men"

Your data doesn't support your claims. The percentage of gay men experiencing intimate partner violence is lower than straight identifying men. Check your math. Gay relationships don't have a higher potential for abuse

Incestuous relationships often involve power imbalances due to family roles and hierarchies. The potential for manipulation and abuse is higher

"Gay marriage isn't approved"

That's a form of discrimination. Korea is saying, "we're fine with you being gay, as long as you don't want the same rights as everyone else." Gee, thanks (not), Korea!

Every person who disagrees with you isn't just an alternate account

You're paranoid. Take a break from the internet

Check my comment out:

Body-swapping didn't start with "Dude in Me." Go back in time, and the original work of the movie would be works like "The Prince and the Pauper (two boys literally living in each other's shoes)," "Vice Versa" (an old man and a schoolboy swapping bodies)," etc, that started the exploration of identity. The movie isn't the original work. It's one link in a long chain of body-swapping stories

All works of art and literature are inspired by other works of art and literature. Creativity is a process of building on existing ideas. You can't trace the origin of the novel or movie to a single work

That, or admit the original work of the novel is the novel itself. The novel's author took the movie, added a few changes, and made the story their own

I also prefer platonic friendships. honestly it's not just this drama I prefer friendship dramas in general. always…
It doesn't have those

Platonic love is a relaxing walk in the park. Romantic love is a thrill ride of twists and turns. It has the heart-stopping moments that people take seriously

Incest and gay love aren't the same thing

There's often a power dynamic at play in incest, where one person has authority over the other. Gay love is often between equals

There are good reasons to be against incest, like the higher potential for abuse. There aren't any good reasons to be against gay love

I don't know, platonic love is great, but romantic love is where the adventure begins. It has the ups, downs, twists and turns that platonic love doesn't have

I hope you're leaving similar comments under straight dramas, wishing they were platonic instead. Don't be stingy with your platonic wishes and only "just friends" the gay stories, that'd be silly

Kowtowing to the society that feels uneasy at the sight of two men in love. That's cowardly
